TUPLUS Suitcase ABS Hard Shell Luggage with 4 Spinner Wheels Hold Check in Travel Case, Balance Series

I’ve been using this TUPLUS carry-on, and I honestly love it. The design is super clean and modern—the white case with the red handle always gets compliments. It rolls really smoothly, and the wide handle feels way more stable and comfortable than the usual ones. It’s lightweight but feels solid, and I like how there are no bulky zippers sticking out. The inside is organized in a simple, smart way that makes packing way easier. It’s made traveling a lot more chill and stylish.

I was really excited to get this when I ordered it but when I unpacked it from the box I was super disappointed. First off the suitcase is made out of a hard plastic. The same sort of hard plastic that crappy toys are made of. That sort of hard plastic that cracks and breaks easily. But that’s just the start. First thing I saw was a separation on the top of the case (See image). The separation is small now but I can just imagine how it will totally fall apart after a few trips through the baggage handling of the airline. NEXT… I opened the suitcase and it wouldn’t close back up!!! It just won’t lock shut!!! My honest opinion, this looks super cool but the reality is… NO GOOD AT ALL!!!! BEWARE!

I really liked the look and feel of this hard shell rolling luggage, and it's even sized appropriately for carry-on, but it's just a bit heavier than expected. The lock is of questionable quality but I suppose there's no way to know until it suddenly cracks open at the airport and I have to figure out a way to stuff it all back in (maybe I'll bring a bungee cord or some ratcheting straps with me just in case). Due to the nature of the hard shell case you won't be able to cram as much into it, but I think it would be suitable in many scenarios. For example, it could work for a short day/weekend trip where you only need the essentials or transportation where there are looser or no weight restrictions like on a train, cruise ship, or a road trip. I'm considering using it on a trip to Japan since I'll have larger checked luggage that will be shipped from major hotel to hotel while taking a smaller piece of luggage (like this TUPLUS) around with me to the smaller towns or traditional inns or ryokans while riding the trains.

Because the handle is in the middle of the bag there is no way to hold/roll the bag along side another bag at the same time in the same hand. The handles don't line up. It's a nice bag of you only have to roll one in your hand. Not to mention how hard it is to push the button to get the handle to pop out while its on a baggage claim carousel. The handle on the side is dangerous as it's very sharp and hard to get a hold of. Multiple people complained about this as they had to handle my bags. Last of the negatives is the bag doesn't sit flat while it's open. One side is deeper than the other which makes me think the hinge won't last long. The wheels are great though and I got a lot of compliments on the look of the bag. It's just not easy to use if you have more than one bag per hand.

This suitcase is next-level. I got it as a gift, and it arrived super well-packed with zero scratches. The bag looks very sleek and goes well with any outfits. The handle blends in perfectly and the materials feel very solid and durable. The locking system is quite satisfying, too—none of that annoying misalignment when closing it. The latch closure is solid and easy to use, though I’d recommend locking it while traveling just to be safe. The interior has very solid fabric and linings. The compartments are well thought out with zippered sections and sturdy straps to keep everything in place. It is designed in a way that could allow me to put in more stuff and be more organized than a regular suitcase. It comes with a protective cover which is quite useful and helps preserve the look. It's great carry-on case and fits perfectly in overhead bins on my most recent flight.

I bought this suitcase for international travel, hoping for sturdy and ease of pulling through multiple airports. It was very easy to maneuver and the material is think and sturdy but that comes at the cost of inside packing space and weight. It's fairly heavy empty which takes some weight away from what you can pack. The zippers were not of good quality and caught several times. I tried to pack and repack to make everything fit but was unable to make it work for me. I returned it as it wasn't what I needed for this trip. It would probably hold 4 days for summer (thinner material) , a pair of shoes and a small toiletries bag but nothing else and certainly not thicker winter clothes. Just consider your needs and packing habits when deciding on this one. Happy travels!
