Amazed at the price (July 2016) and it does the trick!. It came very quick as in days after ordering and bearing in mind the price included the postage, was amazed to get it so quick. The actual item itself works very well - there are basic instructions in the kit if you have not used this sort of item before - and have tried it out with two insertions already within hours of it arriving and hey presto - perfect each time. For the price and what it does, a brilliant bit of kit and I can see it will be a 'life saver' now on as the times I have thrown stuff out because of naff threads... Recommended.

Bought to helicoil a stripped thread on a cylinder head (water pump). Worked perfectly, no water leaks pump held in securely.

I didn't hold up mutch hope for something this cheap, but it worked fine. Repaired a thread in my motorcycle crank case.

Comprehensive kit and good quality value for money

I am an engineer and use Heli coils so this was delivered next day and worked just fine. Absolutely no problems fitting the heli coil to the aluminium cylinder head on my Porsche.Very straight forwards.

OK cheap kit. Drill bit is not good quality, I would recommend buying a good cobalt or similar.
