Compost Brewer - compost tea DIY fertilizer plant food eco 25 & 55 Litres (25 Litres)

This is fantastic for making your own liquid fertiliser. I used to just use a bucket with a lid before but this is so much more convenient and being a big size it is very practical. There is a leaflet suggesting what you can use to make the fertiliser but I mainly use nettle and comfrey plants, you can also use weeds. The result is a non smelly liquid, ready to use in the garden ( I just pour a cup of the fertiliser in a 10 litre watering can full of water and it is ready to use). I highly recommend this if you want to make your own fertiliser.

It is perfect for our garden veg plot. Tap fitted nicely and no leaks. Lid is nicely fitted and we put vege waste off our plants in it straight away and soon it should be ready to bottle and use. Any rotted veg bits will be composted. In spring we will make nettle feed and dandelion feed. Very pleased with it.

Just what I was looking for

All my kitchen waste is cut up and put into the composter and when it's full I fill with water and wait for the mush to fermetate, the book says 3/4 weeks then I should have 55lt of natural plant food. I am waiting now for my mush to fermetate.

Tap isn't as tight fitting as it should be, leading to me having to store it with a stopper, and put sealant round the fitting. Top lid is a very good fit
