Q: does this item have any bark left on it and is the wood sealed? I want to import it to NZ and customs require that there is no insects under bark.

Hi Gillian, there is absolutely no bark on the wood, and they are very highly polished. As for being sealed, I don't know, but they wood is beautiful. I'm sure theft if you contacted the seller, they could give you all the detail that you need for importing into New Zealand. Goo d luck wit it.
