Cool Night Vision Binocular
The media could not be loaded. Video capture is taken from my deck to a tree in the distant yard under no light. We got this IR night vision binocular to use for fishing and boating at night. It works well to see in the dark with the help of IR. It's sturdy and well-made. It uses eight AA batteries inserted on the underside. It has four buttons on the topside. It has nice grip pads for your fingers to hold on both sides. It can take photos and videos, which can be downloaded with the included USB cable without removing the micro SD card. Before using it in the dark, be sure to memorize the function of the four buttons since they all feel the same in the dark (but it's easy to memorize the functions since there are only four buttons).

Low detail, fuzzy pictures
The media could not be loaded. I was definitely unimpressed in almost all ways especially at this price point.Astromania NV400-BIt was so fuzzy it was hard to tell when you were focused (ie least fuzzy)The pictures of the deer were taken at about 30 yards and those were the best focus I could get.IMO the maximum viewing distance was more like 300ft instead of 1300ft.Looking at things less than 20 yards were a lot clearer, of course there is a lot more reflected IR at that distance. The controls are simple and didn't take long to learn, although the IR would shut off every time I switched modes. That's not a big deal since you could decide pictures or video at the start. However, there is only IR on/off - no levels. The same with the zoom function - zoom on/off.Under Product Information, it says these first appeared in 2015.Definitely older technology. I would not recommend these to anyone.

These are very cool.
This set of goggles are awesome. With the extra features (like recording what you see) they are worth the money and very good to have when out in the woods..

Great inexpensive Nigh Vision Bino/camera/Video capture
Really nice Night Vison Bino that captures still images and video. It comes in a protective Case with a USB and Video cord to download your captures and transfer them to your computer for viewing. It takes 8 AA batteries. It does come with an 8gig memory card that is already installed. There are 5 buttons on the top of the unit. One being power and 4 others for MODE, IR, Zoom and Capture. The IR light works very well and so does the illuminator without the IR on. I took these pics with the IR light turned off. These are taken in a pitch black night with no moon or or other lighting. These homes in the pic are almost a 1/4 to 1/2 mile away across the field behind my home. Manual focus works very well as I had to adjust it to take these pics. You need to remember where the control button are and which one is which while operating it. No biggie though. The screen is clear and shows what function you are using and IR settings, etc. Also comes with a neck strap. A really cool and nice Night Vision Bino.

Clear Picture in the Dark!
One thing that impressed me about these night vision binoculars is how good the picture quality was. I have a pretty nice name-brand monocular that is about 4 years old and the image in these binoculars is actually better. Under 10 feet, things tend to get a little blurry but outside that range, they produce a very good picture. That being said, it might not be good for sweeping your house, but it is excellent for watching deer and other animals outside. The set also includes an infrared light with 3 brightness settings. The red LED is pretty visible if you look directly at it but otherwise is hard to see. This is pretty common with most infrared lights though. Please note that the photo of the night vision in use was snapped from a phone, so the picture, in real life was actually slightly better.

Good quality night vision
These are nice field glasses. They are digital and provide quite good night visual quality. They come with good easily understood instructions, well marked function buttons on the top of the unit, and a well padded case with carrying strap. They have a zoom feature and several modes of operation. The glasses weigh about 3 pounds and can be hooked up to your TV. There also is a USB cable for downloading saved images or video to your computer. 8 AA batteries (Not supplied) power the unit. The addition of an additional IF source of radiation improves the sharpness of the picture. These are great optics for the money.Damon M. Tatem

This is a great entry level option for someone interested in night vision
I wasn't expecting much when I got these binoculars, but I was pleasantly surprised after trying them for the first time. With the illuminator on, I can easily see objects in excess of 100yds. With the illuminator off, the distance decreases substantially, but visibility improves with the natural light. I am very pleased with these as an entry level option and would recommend to anyone that want to experience night vision without spending a fortune.
