Horizontal stand with cooling fans for Sony PS3 / PS3 Slim

It took from 6-11-12 till 11-07-12 which is over a month for this product to arrive as i didnt pay anything for delivery coming from Minnesota it was expected.I can't fault the product, it does the job, it is rather quiet and gives an awesome glow around my playsation. For £3.77 you cant go wrong and it doesnt have to be used just for a playsation as it is infact meant for aptops, why not get more use out of it and use it for more of your gadgets :)

Looks really good! Just note that the packaging it comes in is generic, so mine came saying it was for a notebook. So when I came to give it to my boyfriend as part of a gift, he looked really confused lol.On speaking to the supplier about this they were really apologetic that they dont mention this and are looking into it. Which means you cant fault their service.Looks really cool under the PS3 and makes a difference to the gaming experience. We found that it seemed to make our PS3 quieter and sits it on a slight tilt making a really cool effect... and of course, cools down the PS3 which is overally used anyway!

For a cheap looking product literally a sheet of plastic with 3 cheap PC case fans it has done dam well had this about 3 years now the 3 fans are all still up and running. Is has developed rather alot of noise that happens when you start up the console this last for about 6-8 seconds after that goes back to normal. Keeps my PS3 nice and cool, gives a nice blue glow and uses a special USB with a female USB on the back so you do not even lose a port found that touch very nice indeed :) a good buy

Let's get something straight.....it's cheap, that being said you should note that the front and rear feet/legs that it stands on are a different length which I believe suits a laptop better than a PS3 shown in the picture, since I'm using it for my PS3 I just put two old game covers under each corner at the back to level it off (you could use something much smaller) because it's not a good idea to have your PS3 tilted however it is a good idea to have your PS3 lifted slightly higher as this helps to stop it from overheating and I suppose the little fans might help a little in that respect. Honestly it's worth the money for what you get and it actually looks quite good lights on or off, it allows airflow under the PS3 too but I believe it's designed for a laptop. Another good value for money product though.This product was pretty much what I expected and the service was excellent as usual.

I read many reviews on this items and thought what the hell at a fiver cant go wrong. Like many other people have said yes i receieved a notebook stand. The box was very light and i thought there was nothing in it! On getting it out the box it is very plasticy but once under my PS3 you cant even really see it. The lights are bright and amazing and the room glows especially when it is night time and all the lights are out. The fan is slightly noisey but hey it does the job and the PS3 is cooler than before when i did not have the stand.Overall i have to say that this product is mis-described however it is a universal product and could be used for lots of devices and not just a notebook or PS3. Some people seem to have taken the fact that it is described for a PS3 to seriously if you ask me. The item does the job so whats the problem?!At this price i would recommend you just buy it and see what you think but it gets a big thumbs up from me!

Bought this for my PS3, the box it came in says 'PS3 slim, Xbox 360, Notebook'. Basically, the light ones. PS3 doesn't fit on it properly, the weight actually bends the plastic, and it is so cheap and flimsy you could bend it in your hands if you wanted. The blue lights are really bright - uncomfortably so - and the fans are really loud. Have had to unplug it because the noise was driving me mad - I had thought my PS3 made noise, but after the cooling stand I can barely hear it. The only way it helps is by lifting it off the shelf. The USB plug has the wire coming out of the side, so you can only plug it into the right-hand USB port, or you block off the other one. Can't be bothered to send it back - item far too cheap to pay for the return postage, but will be looking for a new one shortly. Preferably one that's actually made for PS3s.

i have two of these and so far so good, one is under the satalite box and the other under my ps3, i have used wooden blocks under both units so the cooling stand can slide under them. i have had them for a few weeks now and they are both working fine, they are fairly quiet as well. As for longevity well i cant comment on that, perhaps i will come back to update my review in a couple months

I think this is brilliant. So easy to install with the USB cable and I liked the blue lighting. Practically speaking it seems to do a great job on my new Playstation 3 "Slim", because the old one failed through over-heating. In any case it raises it a little which suits the location on the TV stand. The price was brilliant and it arrived very quickly. I bought a couple more for Christmas presents because it can be used for laptops. In line with some of the reviewers who rated it lower, I would guess that it would not fit the old style PS3 so well, because the older model is quite a bit bigger and certainly heavier than the "Slim".
