This product works very well compared to some of the other ones on the market. To make sure that these strips give you the correct results i also used my master test kit to compare the results. They are very close to the results from the master kit and so they are good for a quick test to make sure the water has not changed drastically.

Always reliable testing can't fault the strip as I've test them on my sera aqua test box and they are accurate both giving nearly the same reading when tested.

I used to use a Tetra Laborett test kit where I had to take a water sample and add drops of an indicator solution, separately performed for each test. These strips are much less hassle- you just dip it in once for a second and wait ten seconds to read 5 values.Unfortunately the bands for GH are quite wide (jumping from 'over 10 degrees' straight to 'over 16 degrees', which means you can't differentiate any smaller change than that). This is a big contrast against the test kit, which allows you to find the exact hardness drop by drop if you have the patience to do it.Also, I find the NO3 indicator on the strips impossible to read- I can't figure out which of the shades of pink it's supposed to match. I never used to test NO3 anyway though, only NO2.I'm happy that I can decide which the NO2 indicator matches though (zero on these strips is quite clear- though it only distinguishes 0 from 1, whereas with the test kit you couldn't get zero but you did know the difference between under and over 0.3mg/L).Even in the test kit, pH is colour matching, not drop by drop (ie your answer is a range, not an exact figure) so I don't feel a great difference there.So really I don't recommend these for hardness or NO3, but I'm fairly satisfied with the pH and NO2 readings. I get the impression test kits are considerably more accurate though if the hassle of using them doesn't put you off checking your water quality, and I'll probably go back to the test kit when these run out. If you're not checking water quality because you don't have time, these test strips might be the way to go.

Vous aurez de plus amples explications sur les valeurs idéales sur internet.En vrai, ça aidera beaucoup de gens sans coûter trop cher. Por mucho que siempre hay gente que dice que las tiras no son fiables, que caa vez indican una cosa, etc. En mi caso son perfectas, con el tiempo adecuado (1 segundo en el agua y esperar 1min para leer resultados) siempre me marca igual los parámetros y me indica rápidamente si hay alguna alteración. En mi caso, cumplen con su funcionalidad perfectamente.
