Lots of measurements (in centimeters), angles in degrees, diagonal lines, center lines, various marks showing different size papers (A4, A5, A6, A7, etc.). More information than I need but it looks really cool. I'm using it as a permanent desk pad for a quite old worn-out desk, with a surface that had become too rough and scarred to write on. Now I have my desk back, but I think this would work vey well as a cutting mat. Much less expensive than one I looked at in a big-box store, and way nicer. Two sided, with different pleasant color on each side. Measurements are all metric. I like the centimeters and millimeters, but some may need inches. Ships flat - not rolled up like some others being sold here. Nice and thick, so it lays flat. Glad I bought it.

There is an extra quarter inch border, so if you’re looking to fit it into an exact space take that half inch into consideration. I have used it once now and there is no evidence of it having been used. So the self-healing bit holds up. It’s large enough to keep a dining room table relatively safe, sturdy enough that it won’t fold, and colorful enough that it won’t get lost behind bolts of cloth. I’m quite pleased with this purchase.

Have always wanted one of these. It functions in every aspect. I am making my first quilt so I needed something I could cut the material on and be accurate in my measurements. Nice thickness and good quality.

Nice size, great mat for rotatory cutting. I don't use the markings on the mat but would be very useful for some.

I purchased this mat, 36×60. I'm sure the mat was fine, until it got shipped. It was shipped in a thin plastic overlay. It arrived with the plastic torn in several places, dirt and stains on the mat, edges chewed up. THIS IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE SELLER! I was told by Amazon that Amazon fulfilled the order and they shipped it out. I understand that putting it in a cardboard sleeve would increase the shipping cost, but maybe they could add a thicker plastic bag than the one it comes from the manufacturer in. The mat itself is wonderful, just what I was looking for. I quilt and sew and use a rotary cutter frequently so the self healing property is great. I was able to wipe away the loose dirt off the mat, and used magic eraser to get most of the other ones off. There are still faint stains left and there is a gouge that cannot be repaired. It seems silly to return this one and reorder because I'm sure it will come the same way. The good part is, it is double sided so I will use the other side for now. My last one lasted a long time, and that was only one sided. When I need to use the other side, I will position it so as to not hit the gouge. I read another review that had the same problem, so Amazon knows about the shipping issue but chooses not to fix the problem.

The mat is excellent quality and self healing. Just the right size for use at home.

This mat is great, love using the grid to help line up cuts or for sketching. Very durable product.

I am an avid quilter and this cutting mat is replacing a mat I have had for almost 20 years. My previous mat was an OLFA mat and it held up great, but it just wore out and I bought this one because it was a larger size and I could lay a whole piece of fabric (width of 44”) on the mat. It’s well marked and has worked nicely so far. It did come with a slight bend on one corner so I did have to set a few heavy books on it for a few days to flatten it out (it still has a slight bend in it but it hasn’t hurt anything). I only gave it 4 stars for durability and sturdiness because I’ve only had it about a month so not sure about that. One piece of advice would be to store it laying down rather than on it’s side so it doesn’t warp since it is so big.
