Investing in ETFs For Dummies Paperback – August 29, 2023

I have been doing some amateur investing in ETFs for years now, and I am tired of watching videos and reading articles online. This is the perfect book to read in just a few days. I really learned a lot and wish I had know about this years ago.

I like ETFs, they simlify investing and I prefer them to other forms of ownership.

This is an informative book for those seeking to learn HOW to invest their money in ETFs. I recommend it for that purpose. However, there is nothing substantive regarding the legal, investment and accounting STRUCTURE for ETFs. There is nothing on the specific detailed holdings of the entity that "tracks" a "basket" of securities. The terms "basket" and "tracking" are not well defined. WHERE is the "basket" located? WHO owns the basket? In what FORM do they own it? What specially is actually in the basket. For instance, If I own shares in the GLD EFT that holds only gold I would want to know where the old is located. . But the book would not inform as to where and what exactly GLD holds (gold can be owned in several forms). Still the book is an informative source for the average investor.
