Perhaps the most elegant and useful pocket tool
Buying a pocket knife is the art of compromise , in that you have to consider what tools to have and what tools to leave out in order to keep it "pocket sized". The Evowood 17 was originally a Wenger model before Victorinox bought them out in 2005 and still keeps the Wenger inovations such as pressure locking screwdriver, staysharp scissors and the very nice ergonomic walnut handle. It does have the better Victorinox style aule/scraper and the multi use Victorinox can opener ( I think the old Wenger canopener worked better but didn't have the small screw driver like the Victorinox version) The walnut wooden scales look and feel superb, and the plus point is that when they get banged up and dented overtime they develop a nice patina ,whilst the red plastic scales tend to just look tatty. The down side of the wooden scales is the lack of of tweezers and toothpick (you'd have to find a Victorinox Huntsman, made specifically for the US market ,for wooden scales with tweezers & toothpick.) The Evowood 17 is a great UK legal every day carry for the pocket but if I was going travelling/ backpacking I would change it for a larger model

Beautiful, practical, an essential even for a girl.. bought for a gift then ordered another for me!!
Absolutely delighted! Bought this for hubby’s Christmas stocking from the dogs and he is going to love it. I love it so much I’ve added one in my basket for me! Have you ever loved something so much you want to keep it yourself? The solution - buy another for him, December is a long way off haha. Seriously, I’ve owned my Camo Huntsman for decades and it’s still going strong. This walnut wood Swiss Army knife is the dogs watsits. So cool to look at I’ve slipped it in my bag ( its even got a nail file for us girls and wanna chop a sandwich while sat on a park bench? This is the tool to have in your bag. And the knife is within legal limits so no worries about PC Plod. As for us going out hiking a trekking, us both having one on us covers all eventualities, including me getting lost. WIth my Swiss Army knife ... I’m sorted. I love it! Love the walnut handle, it’s a thing of beauty.

A truly classic knife
This is an absolute belter of a penknife - all the blades and functionality you could ask for plus the wood makes it a thing of beauty to boot! Sure Victor Inox products have been reviewed to death, and this one is no exception - beautifully designed and constructed and really does do what it says on the can! Great service from the retailer and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Lovely knife but pricey. Clearly the premium version.
It is a nice knife right at the premium end of the market. Bought for my 10 year old as his first pen knife. If I was buying for myself I might get a Leatherman for similar money.

Nice knife. But presentation box poor
Kmife looks great, but when received it, after opening up the Amazon packaging, the knife was loose in the package, out of it's box, andbthatbwas squashed, not great as it's a gift for my son, they could at least make the box either sturdier or give it a better box. Shame, but otherwise good.

Good quality but a bit pricey given size and sturdiness.
Good quality, a little pricey for the size though. It is slightly smaller than the old style Swiss army knives and it doesn't feel quite as strong, but it looks nice and great as a gift.

Boyfriend loves it
Bought for my boyfriend as a present and he loved it! The walnut finish makes it looks really smart and is worth the little extra money!
