I can also use for my daily protein smoothies
Even though it is called a nut milk maker, I use it for anything like a blender. I fill it with water to the Max line, add my protein, fruits, stevia and coconut oil, select the Juice function and the nut milk maker blends and mixes for 180 seconds. The end result: I get a tasty protein smoothie daily. In the user guide, I only see basic instructions for making various types of plant milk. However, I think anyone should experiment and try. There is a measuring cup included and I use the user guide as a reference to create new types of plant milk like sesame milk. The hardest part for me was figuring out which preset function to choose from: Soy Milk, Nut Milk, Juice/Cleaning, Baby Food, Grains, and Keep Warm. I decided to use the Nut Milk preset to create sesame milk. I added 4 measuring cups, a bit of debittered stevia extract powder and filled with water to the Max line. After 20 minutes, the milk was ready and I let it flow through the included stainless steel strainer. The milk came out a bit thin so I almost doubled the amount of sesame seeds with 7 measuring cups. That time, the milk came out thick and with lots of foam on top.The touch control of the nut milk maker has a small display in the center. It tells me which function is running and shows the remaining time either in minutes. The juice/cleaning function is displayed in seconds only as it takes only 3 minutes. The nut milk maker allows scheduling functions for later use. However, the user guide lacks clarity on this feature. To schedule, long-press the Preset/Function button until four functions light up: Soy Milk, Baby Food, Nut Milk, and Grains. Repeatedly press the button to select the desired function (blinking when selected), then press it again to set the hold time in 30-minute increments. Start the selected function by pressing the Start/Cancel button; to cancel, press it again. The hold time display initially confused me. Full hours are shown as 1h, 2h, 3h, etc. However, 30-minute increments are represented as 05, meaning 0.5 hours. For instance, 1 hour and 30 minutes appear as 15 (equivalent to 1.5 hours), while 2 hours and 30 minutes show as 25 (meaning 2.5 hours), and so forth. The maximum hold time is 12 hours.I've utilized the hold time function several times. On one occasion, I overslept in the morning, yet to my pleasant surprise, the plant milk in the nut milk maker remained warm. This is because the device automatically keeps the milk warm for up to 12 hours. Now, I no longer fret about waking up late; I can still get warm milk whenever I arise. The spout of the nut milk maker allows me to do a clean, controlled pour every time. In contrast, my blender makes a small mess by dribbling down the side. So, I only have to clean the inside of the nut milk maker and the lid. The juice function also works for cleaning but most of the time, I use a non-abrasive sponge and mild detergent and rinse it carefully. By the way, I can detach the white power cord from the device so it’s not in the way when I’m washing the nut milk maker. However, I am careful not have my hand near the steam vent in the center of the lid. I had my hand right above it and I suddenly felt a hot steam on the palm of my hand. I didn't get a serious burn but there should be at least a warning sticker.I also noticed that the nut milk maker gets hot, but not burning hot, to the touch at the bottom. However, that seems to be normal as I've been using it for over a month and the machine is working normally.

Wish it had better instructions and at least a recipe
The media could not be loaded. I just got this and trying as I write. Instructions are very vague, and not very "instructive" . I looked to see if there was a video to show me how to properly operate or at least a recipe, and did't find any online. It would be helpful a recipe for each setting and an estimated time of preparation for each kind of milk or product.I made almond milk first and blanched my almonds. It turned out pretty good, I think if you blanch them you can get away and not sieve it, but I did. I added a little salt and vanilla at the ende. I am now making a batch of hazelnut milk. The almond milk was so creamy, not at all the taste of the supermarket one. So good! I really wish it had better instructions. If you sieve it, don't throw that to the trash, I made a cheese almond spread, combining it with olive oil, some garlic and herbs.

Hard to us and makes a huge mess
I really wanted this machine to work because I make Almond Milk every few days. First of all, there are absolutely NO instructions or ratio's of water to almonds. I tried several combination and none of them worked. The machine boils over and makes a huge mess no matter how much or how little water/almonds you put in. I looked on their website and youtube and there were no instructions or information. Obviously, I sent it back. I am just making my Almond Milk with filtered water and soaked raw almonds in my high speed blender....works great every time.

Ok, so this is a good products to an extent. It can be messy, and it's a bit finnicky... but once you get the hang of it, it works very well. First off the instructions are garbage, like... useless. So your best bet is to try and find some videos online. I'm no pro when it comes to making nut milk or anything, but i DID develop this weird allergy to milk called FPIES and i can't even look at milk without being down and out for 3 days. And dairy substitutes are EXPENSIVE. I got lucky enough to try this, hoping i can maybe mitigate some of those expenses. So after much toiling and trial and error (and a lot of wasted nuts) i have it working... mostly. So this does work, and it seems to do everything with the press of a button. I'm a big fan of cashew milk, but it's tough to find and always so thin... i'm able to control the texture a bit more with this. While the machine is loud when it's grinding the nuts, it does a good job. And honestly... anything with blender blades is loud. So no issues there. The unit itself is nice and sturdy, it is well made and seems to be pretty solid. The button panel is easy to read and user friendly and there's no weird button combinations. Just set it and forget it. All the components wash well and seem to be built for the long term. I haven't used the baby food or juice settings yet, but i will update once i do.

4 Stars!
I love everything it does. My only complaint is that you have to make 3 batches to fill a pitcher for milk! The baby food feature is great!!

Works great
I’ve made tasty almond milk with it after some trial and error. The only thing I had a problem with was they don’t have any recipes to follow. Cleanup was a breeze and it works great.

Beware of buying this product!
Got this today and I’m quite disappointed. Zero guidance on how to make the milk, no recipe book at all. The instructions are vague and not helpful. Click on the link to their company name and their profile. It leads to a website that’s not found. Also their customer service emails bounces back as undeliverable. Not worth it just to save a few bucks! There are plenty competitors out there with better products for just a few more dollars
