6 Volt 4 Ah 4.5ah Lead Acid Rechargeable Alarm/Model Battery

I ordered this as a replacement battery for an inexpensive Homebase rechargeable torch. The original battery was somewhat smaller so I was unsure if it would fit, but it filled the available space perfectly. Very inexpensive product and a nominal 1p for P&P was an added bonus.Item arrived double quick - ordered on a Friday afternoon and it was delivered early on Monday. in fact I received the "dispatched" E-mail after it had already been delivered!Battery arrived fully charged and my torch now has a powerful beam - time will tell how long the charge will last, but I would have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Excellent product-we use it to power a Bernini outdoor water feature.The original battery supplied with the fountain did not last long at all-just over 13 months!-the supplier could not sup[ply a replacement as they were obsolete.We found this one and it works better than the original-this is our second one for our other fountain.Both the product and the delivery were without fault,thank you.

Bought as a replacement battery for a camping light. The battery appear to be well made and arrived already charged. Unfortunately it is a slightly different design at the top to my old one, so to make it fit I had to cut my battery fitting and tape it to the new battery. This is not ideal but the lamp now works. My error as I should have noticed the slight design difference and bought a different battery. As far as the battery itself is concerned it appears to be OK and was the cheapest I could find. Had it been a perfect fit I would have given it 5 stars.

I bought this for a water fountain pump for which its battery was running out after an hour's use. This battery was almost fully charged when it arrived so I topped it up and gave it a go. I imagined that it would run for a few hours which I would have been satisfied with. A full 24 hours later the blummin thing was still running! I stopped it and then tried it again the next day, and it was still running for a couple of hours and so I gave ut and turned it off! Not sure what this would be like for heavier usage such as small ride-on toy cars etc. but on the face of it, it would seem an ideal replacement and so I highly recommend it. I may come back and edit my review but we don't use the water feature that much so who knows how long it will last us!

Item was exactly as stated and so fitted the rechargeable torch that it was ordered for. The battery came with charge in it so Torch operated straight away. Have not gone through recharge cycle yet but am delighted so far as it means that the torch does not have to be junked. Good value with a higher spec than the original.

10+ year old powerful torch now working brilliantly again. Was going to bin it due to the price of most of these batteries, especially as I needed 2 and was suspicious of such a relatively low price (£3.99 each plus postage total of £3.99) fearing that they might be 'renovated' but they are clearly brand new. Were nearly fully charged on receipt but then charged fully. After now more than 2 weeks the voltage and current that can be drawn from each battery is the same as it was 24 hours after initial charging.Lead acid batteries have been around for about 150 years and there is no fancy technology in any of these standard (albeit gel type) batteries, unlike certain car batteries. Dubious if anyone makes a bad one and seems daft to pay more for some over-priced brand.

Arrived promptly, but was packed simply in a light jiffy bag, with no box or packaging. Hardly adequate, though thankfully it survived, and hardly worth the p+p of £3.99.The battery itself (also £3.99) seems ok. Arrived with a voltage of 6.3, which my charger declared 1/2 charged (2 bars out of 4). It charged up ok, and the torch is now useable again. How long it will last, time will tell. The previous battery lasted >10 years, but then again was never left half charged, which tends to degrade lead acid batteries.

The battery arrived quickly. Not very well packed.I used it for a replacement battery for myBernini water feature.Because the battery had clip on connectorsI had the wires from the old battery adapted.It works perfectly.and last so much longer than the old one.The price was Excellent.
