Awesome Product
I just got the unit today for my 3 year old daughter who has reoccurring sinus infections. I am very pleased with the product my daughter used it all by herself and asked to do it again. We have tried other brands of sinus rinses and all have been horrible. I have to put her in a head lock and hold her hands down and squirt the solution up her nose, she ends up coughing and gagging. I am hoping this works I have had her to multiple doctors for a chronic cough that she only gets in the winter. They put her on multiple rounds of antibiotics and steroids which then once she is off the antibiotics and steroids within a week she is sick again. She also looses weight because she is sick all winter. Around Easter every year she has a febrile seizure and I took her to a Neurologist and he said it is because she is sick all winter and her body can not fight it anymore. Thank you so much for a product that my 3 year old can use and it is not a battle to do. I will keep you posted on her progress.Update: we have been using the product now for 2 weeks and she has had no cough. AWESOME PRODUCT.

This didn't leak like the reviews I saw.
It seems to work as advertised, with no leaks. The lid was broke on the right, but it doesn't change how it works. It goes above the place you store the tips at.

What in the world were they thinking?
The console where you press your selections was weak and therefore confusing when your selections did not work or work correctly. What I'm saying is that the technology is cumbersome. The pulsing irrigator is so negligible, so as to be ineffectual. The inferior plastic stem had its cheap plastic oversized rubber like tip. The stem snapped and the bulb-like tip made the pulsing such as it was, even more annoying because it was too clumsy to use at all. I did give it a few chances.I will say that the motor sounded smooth: Quality. The design was an unnecessary and cloddy use of the space required for efficient working of all the components of the machine.

Water leaked from somewhere invisible inside the irrigator!
Just received the irrigator to try easing my allergy, however when I turned it on the first time, the water did not come out from the tip of handle but leaked from somewhere inside the irrigator. Very soon 500cc water got all leaked onto my table.. Very poor quality. So disappointing.

Better than the Grossan Hydropulse
I have pretty bad nasal allergies, so when I found about pulsatile nasal irrigation, I knew it was something I should try. I got the Grossan, but it started leaking after the 3rd time I used it, so I had to return it. If you read the reviews for that product, you'll see I'm not the only one who had problems with it.I was looking around for an alternative and found the Sanvic. I noticed that one of the previous reviewers complained that the water pressure isn't as good. I don't really need that much pressure, so this is not an issue for me. But it is true that the highest setting on the Sanvic would only be about medium on the Grossan, so if you do need a lot of pressure, that is something to consider. So far, the Sanvic works great. I've only had it for a month, but I use it at least once, sometimes twice a day, especially now that spring allergy season has started. Using it is easy and fuss-free. I suppose only time will tell how durable it is, but so far, so good.

Not enough water pressure.
I bought this as an alternative to the Grossan Hydro Pulse, which I've been using for over five years now. The problem with the Hydro Pulse is that it always breaks down just after the one-year warranty is over. I was hoping that the Sanvic irrigator might last a bit longer. I really liked the look of the Sanvic, especially the enclosed storage section (the storage on the Hydro Pulse is open and gets dirty easily). Unfortunately, even at the highest setting, the water pressure from the Sanvic didn't even come close to that of the Hydro Pulse. I need the water to get up into my ethmoid and frontal sinuses, so I need the stronger flow and, therefore, had to go back to the Hydro Pulse. I really liked everything else about the Sanvic, though, so I really wish I could have given it a try. Maybe they'll be able to get a stronger flow by the time my Hydro Pulse conks out in a year. If you like a softer flow of water, this might still work for you.

Definitely worth it.
Best nasal rinse system I’ve used. I also had a similar product that lasted for many years. Over the long term it will be less expensive than other methods. The Slavic unit has 4 variable rinse flow rates to choose from. It is easy to use.

Could be improved...BATTERY OPERATION, ANYONE?
I wish there was a way to make this battery operated. Using this around my bathroom is a bit hard with the plug in to AC requirement. My sink is crowded enough before adding the extension cord.I know it has prevented a full blown sinusitis infection for me. Recommend that everyone using this use it daily!
