Bestway 12 feet Steel Frame Swimming Pool Cover, 58037E, Blue

Was very dubious about buying this given the number of negative reviews around poor size fit but for our model (Bestway 12ft Power Steel Deluxe) it is a very good fit. Drawstring can be set to a suitable tension so that you can stretch it over the top of the frame and it will stay put without needing to undo and re-tie every time you want to remove or recover the pool. Can also be removed and re-covered with just 1 person even for the 12ft diameter (might be slightly awkward if much bigger than this).Been in use for 3 weeks now without issue or any signs of degradation. Will not last forever as it is only relatively thin plastic but certainly will do for the season or two and at less than £20 that seems fair.

I bought this 15ft cover to fit a 12ft pool, so obviously it is far too big to use as it’s intended to be (a tight fit over the pool). However, I did this on purpose. I needed a cover that would hang over and cover the sides of the pool as well to stop my cat from clawing and potentially puncturing the pool as was the fate of our last pool (easy up version, so had no chance really did it?!)We are approaching the end of August and despite numerous attempts by my relentless and rather stupid cat the pool has not sprung any leaks - so far. The cover can take the weight of a 4kg cat for enough seconds to allow the damn moggy to jump to safety so there’s another unexpected plus.It’s dark colour also helps to heat the first few inches of water.

The pool cover is great, the 12ft best way steelpro max pool however is not so good, pump is underpowered providing inadequate water flow to keep water fresh

Fits perfect, easy to use and warms up the pool on a summer day. It's stayed on through the rubbish weather we've had, seems durable-no rips, holes and hasn't stretched. Great value for money

This thing is abysmal. It does fit, but that's the extent of the positives. It's as thin as tin foil and when you secure it over a pool (I have a 12 foot Bestway), it has holes in it for water to escape from but equally water then comes up through the holes. Every single night the water would come up through the holes and weigh the centre down, this would then self-perpetuate until the cover was still secured to the sides but touching the floor of the pool. We tried tying the cover really tightly to the side of the pool (didn't work) and even took to putting a kids inflatable toy under the cover in the centre to stop it sinking (again, only stopped the sinking in the area where the toy was).

Before the purchase, I already knew from the reviews that this cover is quite thin and don't expect it to stay on even with the most minimal winds/breezes. But, I had no choice but to go ahead with the purchase as there were no other substitutes available, even at higher prices. So, I invested another £15 to buy x12 4.5" spring clamps and use them to secure this cover to the steel pool frame of my 12ft Bestway pool. It does the job now and the wind is no longer an issue. Bob's your uncle!

Worked good heated up quickly with sun shine

After reading the reviews I was unsure whether this would be any good. But the 10ft cover fits perfectly over my 10ft pool. When it arrived I tried to stretch it over the pool but it wouldn’t stretch far enough. Even with 3 of us we couldn’t make it fit so I left it floating on the pool surface overnight. Maybe the warmth of the sun or soaking it in the water helped but the next day it was far stretchier and I easily fit it over by myself. So if you find yours doesn’t fit try soaking it in the water overnight.
