Good quality paint a bit more expensive than some but worth it

Great product

Having been a Hammerite user for many years, I have always found their paint easy to apply and use. Cleaning up brushes afterwards use is a pain after being used to water based paints so I now use cheap throw away brushes as the items being painted are generally not brush friendly.I bought the Hammer finish because of a 1 litre deal and applied to a wrought iron railing where I had used smooth finish on another part. Initially unsure of the effect, after drying and a month of weathering I prefer the finish on a pitted railing. I have a corrugated shed roof to paint so will be buying more for that.

It is pretty good paint for metal, easy to use and good outcome. They should provide 1L version rather than 750ml

Seems to have made a good job of my garden furniture

Can’t complain, bought on a deal for just over £12. Does what it says. I wanted it for a metal framed wooden box trailer. Previous paint was pealing so I sanded it, rinsed down and one coat of Hammerite. Looks far better than it did. Still had about 1/3 of the tin left.Found it easy enough to apply, yes it’s thicker than paint but get a good brush and take your time.There may be better out there but for what I wanted and price, it ticked all the boxes
