I’ve used Torins for several years now and these are my favorite yet. The upgraded support and cushion are a bonus. The fit is great, I have wider feet and I fit in the standard width just fine.

These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn in my life. I wear them all the time and it’s hard to go back to other shoes after feeling the comfort and support these provide. I work on my feet all day (10 hour shifts) and I use to have so much foot pain and fatigue by the end of the day. That is completely gone wearing these shoes!! I love them for the gym as well because of the wide toe box. If you’re on the fence just do it!! These shoes are legit!

This was the first pair of Altra's I purchased. As I stated in my review of my Olympus 2s, I really like the near-zero drop feature of many of their sneakers. These Torin 7s do not have as much of a midsole as the Olympus 2s. These helped me resolve the issue I was having with my heel. I loved the style of these sneakers. They have an aggressive stance and with the bold, green-yellow bottoms with the gray ... just really like them. That's what attracted me first. No issues with durability at all. Both my Olympus 2s and these Torin 7s required me to size up to a 9 for the perfect fit. The size 9s are very comfortable and allow for me to spread my toes without feeling cramped.One feature I did NOT like -- and worthy of losing one full Star -- is the mesh tops. They got dirty almost immediately and it got too tedious to try to keep them clean. So, low marks there.

I have high arches and suffer from plantar fasciitis.With arch supports these shoes hit the ground in stride better than any I have ever run on.Good, firm heel cup as well.Also did not worry about the road camber from right to left as these are do stable.

Been running in Torin 9.5 regulars for several years, several marathons. Last year I wore out two Torin 6s which is unusual for my speed (very slow) and mileage (moderate), but ok fair enough. Eagerly took my Torin 7s out. It's appalling how bad they are.- The upper mesh is just fragile. It has started a small rip after my first light 2 mile run/walk. Really just a test run.- the foot is narrow. I don't have wide feet. This is just crazy - it's not footshape anymore.- the laces are just ridiculously short unless you cinch the shoe painfully tight. (I use the heel lock loops even when road running.)- even given this was the first run, the ride is extremely stiff, felt like running on minimals. I have never owned a pair of Torins like this. Going to switch to some other model. Have a pair of Altra Provision as a backup, I don't love them, but at least they have held up for 50+ miles.

LOVE these shoes!! So comfy right out of the box! I'm on my feet 8 hrs a day walking around and I'm very happy I found these. Will recommend this brand and shoe to others!!!!!

Love this shoe. Large toe box with plenty of room. Natural gait with little fall so a more natural run.
