It’s a door strike
I used this for my door. As a door strike. It works. It’s did not work for a moment but I had installed it on the wrong spot. All good now

Striker is a Perfect Fix
The person who installed the original striker did not align to the door properly and the door never closed properly until this new striker was installed. The key, is the screw holes to secure this striker are in different locations than the standard striker allowing the proper alignment and adjustments with fresh new screw holes.

Cheap Screws
Extremely easy to strip the screw heads with the screws provided. The strike plate is good quality but I would recommend using higher quality screws instead of the ones that are provided.
