HD and lower resolutions supported only. Not bi-directional. Works well.
The media could not be loaded. This capable little USB powered device fills a very specific need quite nicely. Using a HDMI cable over a long distance is best avoided. Here, you can take any HDMI source and split into two feeds of the far more robust SDI system often used in broadcasting. An SDI cable can have a very long run (100m+) with no noticeable signal loss. Ideal if you were sending video and sound to a distant room in your house. You’ll need to convert back to HDMI at the other end depending on the inputs on your destination monitor.Do note that no HDMI or SDI cables are supplied, just the USB wall brick and lead. The maximum resolution the device can handle is up to HD only, 1080p (or i).For 4k or UHD you’ll need a different device. But in HD - as you can see in thevideo – it does a great job.One minor issue: the USB C socket on the converter is not very robust and the incoming USB C plug sticks out a bit, not settling tightly into the socket. I checked with other USB connectors and the result was the same.Good compact unit that does the job well.

CCTV USAGE
Did not work at all. Tried many outputs but still no signal.

Just as bad as blackmagic
So this design is pretty clear, standard cheap DOSIN BNC connectors like you'll see on many dozens of Chinese products, standard HDMI connector.Well the ICs on this is pretty much just copy paste design from everyone else, there's only one I can't get a photo of because it has a thermal puttyed heat sync which practically does nothing to cool these.Like BMD equipment (which is the same sort of price point this is targeting at 45GBP), It fails to implement one basic concept "cooling" which apparently nobody can implement into any of their compact devices despite these all using cast aluminium cases, which with a basic heat plate design would dissipate the internal heat instead of trapping it...Anyways this has worked fine for 3G modes upto 1080p59.94 it's not going to last a long time outside of cold environments, I'd gave it 2 years lifespan maximum in a production environment. The USB-C does work with PD supply's and triggers for 5v also, included adapter is 5v 1a.
