This stuff is great and does relieve a bit of stress. Not sure what it’s made of but the texture is awesome. It’s nkt slimy or messy at all - it even bounces if you form a ball. I agree with other reviews about the packinging being difficult. Priced too high but fun stuff.

I purchased this product for my own use as an autistic with a need to keep my hands lightly busy to manage anxiety and in-situ stress. I do have sensory processing disorder. I chose this product as a cheaper alternative to Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty.PROS========- The proprioceptive feedback (what it feels like when you squeeze or stretch it) is medium for a putty like this. I think it's an ideal balance of compliance and resistance. I can use it for quite a while and my hands won't get tired, and I won't be distracted by it or become fixated on it.CONS========- The tin is a little difficult to open. It's like those plastic caps on the 1/2 gallon soy milk or almond milk containers--squeeze too hard, and you make it more difficult to get off, not hard enough and your fingers slip.- Covered with a smelly, oily substance that triggered an acute disgust response in meOverview========Being that this is my first encounter with this brand, I'm hesitant to try again. I did not opt for replacement, and went straight for return because the experience of initial contact was so jarring. I did later try it again with gloves on and that was much nicer, but also impractical.

Most STRESSFUL PACKAGING EVER!As I type my stress boyfriend is HACKING the metal tin apart to get to the putty. Since I gave this to him on Christmas in his stocking as a stocking stuffer we've joked about how impossible and STRESSFUL the packaging is. The tin literally won't come open most of the time, and I've even broken a nail trying to open it (I know, the horror).Anywho - the actual product is as expected and gets some aggression out (luckily cause we're usually heated af after opening it).
