Color is perfect

I was retiling our shower with 1-inch tiles, but wanted some larger tiles in a contrasting color so that we could continue to use these handy suction-cup hooks we purchased last year. I used 7 of the 9 in a block across the back wall, and it worked out perfectly.

OK so I know I'm not using this as intended so I will first describe what I found.Inside the package are standard dark blue bathroom/kitchen tiles. These will work fine on your wall and if your floor is stable enough, your floor. I could find no faults with these and I have installed tile in my bathroom.But, I didn't get it for that because my bathroom and kitchen tile is fine the way it is. I wanted some really solid blue ceramic tiles to put drinks on. I keep getting wood ones every year and they rot over time from the perspiration on the cups (yes I know drinks don't really perspire). I have also gotten plastic ones and they crumble after a couple of years of constant use. The crocheted ones my Mom made years ago leaked like a sieve. I don't recommend those at all. I have tried napkins both paper and cloth and same result. But these worked perfectly. I just added four small sponge rubber feet via hot glue and viola! I also tried using three of these as a trivet for a frying pan I just took off the fire and they worked perfect. Those I glued cork to the bottom of. I half expected them to crack and they did not. Your results might be different depending on temperature and how gentle you are with them. Glazed ceramic is not indestructible but for this use, these are cheap enough and honestly I think they look amazing.I highly recommend these both for their intended purpose and a variety of other projects.

High quality clay tiles in a beautiful royal blue. These are very solid, thick, and beautifully coloured on the top. I will be using these with some other tile pieces to create a small table. These would be beautiful in any room, and are an excellent quality for various other uses.
