Samsung Galaxy A34 5G 128GB Awesome Silver 16,65cm (6,6") Super AMOLED Display, Android 13, 48MP Triple-Kamera

Arrived quickly, box is sealed as expected. Great price, which I realise is probably due to it originally being intended for a foreign market. I read some of the reviews on here before purchasing and agree it would be better if the seller was upfront about the possibility of it defaulting to Russian, however when you turn it on you press one button and change it straight to your chosen language, so in my opinion this isn't a big deal at all, and certainly not a reason to send it back! Have had no issues since changing the language and was easily able to set up the phone and transfer my settings over from my existing phone.

Excellent value for money

I had a Realme 6i - which was fabulous value - but gave it to a relative and bought the A34 as a similar-proportioned, reasonably-priced replacement with 5G and minimum Android 13. The phones are the same size and mass. The A34 costs more and is newer so no surprise there are better features like the front and back cameras, better quality with better operation. The screen resolution is greater but more than I need. A big difference is the sound - very clearly far superior in the A34. The operating system is fine. It claims 5000 mAh for the battery but it's not as good as the Realme which, with the same stated mAh, lasted a superb five days with my light usage; the A34 lasts four - still good, though. It casts to a TV easily. The SIM comes out the same way with a pin. It's an all-round good phone which is the least I expect and is an improvement on my old phone. If the battery lasted five days I would have given five stars.

This is my first ever Samsung phone I bought it to replace a Motorola which was awfull but I digress. This phone felt a littleheavy at first but that's probably because my previous phone was awfull. As I am writing this review I have had this A34 in my hand for 4 days now and its the best phone I have ever had by a mile. I paid almost double for that awfull Motorola Edge I just binned than I paid for this Samsung Beast Mode phone..Unbelievable!!!I can't believe the difference in almost everything. Apps ,YouTube, scrolling, sound, charging all a million miles better than anything I've ever had previously. I'm not on social media or gaming but I do watch the sports on my phone and have my music on here its absolutely Night and Day diffraction from other mid entry blowers. I'm not tech savy I usually buy phones from £250-350 that's about my limit as I don't see the point but this monster for £200 is a steal. My advice is buy one of these as fast as you can. By the Its not a Russian phone its just that Russian is a language choice just like every country.Some people sre just straight up stupid at times and moan about anything Honestly you won't regret making this purchase Buy it and be Amazed at how cheap it was for a belter of a phone.

My best Samsung phone / best phone ever...Well worth it.

I thought I was buying a used phone but I received a brand new sparkling phone sealed in the original manufacturers packaging. One slight problem, everything was in Russian. So I got another phone and used Google translate in camera mode to get into the settings and change the language. No big problem really, but I think the seller could point this out and offer a solution. All that aside, it is an absolute steal. The cheapest I can find this phone new is £360, and I paid £200. It's an excellent phone if you beef up the memory with a decent SD card.

I recognise that I got this at a good price and it came quicker than expected but it had clearly been destined for the Russian market. It came on in Russian, only instructions were in Russian and now I’m getting emails in Russian! I had no problem putting it right for me but a little word of warning would have been better. I suspect a lot of people could end up returning it and I considered it.

The phone is great for the price it is being offered at here. However, the way apps are optimised for it is not great - Snapchat, TikTok (eg. Third party camera apps) all look shaky and TikTok has no dark mode. Snapchat takes a few seconds to actually capture the image. The Google Pay and Samsung Pay apps don’t even come close to Apple Pay so I’d recommend an iPhone if you’re planning on using it for physical payments. I had multiple instances where the phone just wasn’t paying for things. Once even in a busy shop at checkout..The fingerprint reader isn’t great the face unlock works well except in the dark.Pretty laggy. Screen is great though and 120hz is great but drains the battery faster. Battery on 60hz last forever.
