Broke at the neck after two months of LIGHT USE

We grate a lot of vegetables in this house. I like this grater for generating square shaped strips of vegetables for stir-fry or salads. I still like grating with a standard grater when I want the vegetable to give up juice or blend into the food. So I wouldn’t use this for carrots for carrot cake, but it’s great for carrots for stirfry. Similarly, zucchini and potatoes graded on a standard grader tend to get mushy, but the straws of vegetable generated by this fry up more nicely without falling apart.So, this is a useful item for my kitchen. A manual grater is never as easy to use as an electric one, but this is a good addition to a kitchen that does a lot of stir-fry and I will definitely use it at those times. Four stars.

The blades are sharp. The thickness of the stripes is perfect. It's thicker than in most graters out there, and that is what I was looking for, but! it's not enough length at the lower part of the grater to make properly long matchsticks, and your vegetables are touching the surface too early so you have no where to move and have to stop so your stripes/matchsticks are hardly even half length of the possible size. You may say, lay the grater flat (parallel to the surface) on a collecting container, yet it's making this kind of grating job very inconvenient and even hard especially with carrots. If there would be some sort of "legs" or just more surface on the lower/bottom part of the grater, or maybe if they also would move the grating blades a bit morehigher up, it would have 5 stars from me.

This grater works very well. Now you can make amazing carrot salad.. It makes it fun to eat your veggies. 😃

Loved using it the first time; it broke the second time. No way to fix it. Waste of money. :(
