Wish I had this years ago. Make a strong repair. Easy to use.

I'm restoring a 1996 Ram so i decided to get this to fix the broken plastic under the dash. But while installing the new front bumper trim it cracked on me cause nothing ever fits the same as like new. I figured I'd give it a shot and fix it rather than spending another 100 bucks on a peice of plastic. After i stitched it back up its very sturdy. I put alittle more stitches than it probably needed but I wanted to make sure it was strong!

Welder heaters up and seems to work like it should. I have used it a ton so I don't know kw how long it will last. Only reason at this point to not have 5 stars is it came with a set of flush cut snips and they were garbage. The edge shattered while trying to snip the metal pins on every attempt to cut it. Not a real loss, but had to go buy a real pair of flush cut snips.

It works great. I fixed a fridge drawer that I couldn’t replace. There some sharp points remaining after trimming closely with nippers which were provided. I covered them with some heavy white tape. In retrospect I should have repaired it from underneath. The tool was very handy and the handle was ergonomic and easy to grip. It saved buying a $130 drawer even if it was available.

This thing is awesome! Fixed a harley fairing from the inside and it is holding really well! It's super easy to use.

Awesome little tool works well

Incredibly simple to use and - at least for my application -- almost a miraculous fix. I had a set of really nice headphones ($100+) whose plastic earpiece holder cracked, making the headphones useless. I applied a few of the "welding" staples to cracked areas of the plastic; and within minutes, the cracked plastic was stable again and, effectively, completely repaired. You should practice a little on spare plastic, because the hot staples are, well, hot...and it's good to know how quickly (or not) they'll "sink in" to the plastic you're repairing/reinforcing. But very, very simple to use and very effective.
