Great for law enforcement
The CQR Tactical Belt for work has exceeded my expectations. The heavy-duty webbing and quality stitching ensure impressive durability, while the quick-release buckle provides secure yet easy access to my gear. The belt comfortably holds all my essential equipment without sagging, and its adjustable sizing allows for a perfect fit. Plus, the military style adds a rugged aesthetic that works well in both work and casual settings. Overall, the CQR Tactical Belt is a fantastic investment for anyone needing a reliable, multifunctional belt for daily use. Highly recommended!

Great belt for anyone working with metal detectors
Great belt for metal detectors.I put it on in the morning, it's comfortable and stays snug all day. It's all fabric and durable plastic so I don't have to take it off every time I go through a metal detector at work.

Good Belt for the price
CQR makes a good belt and it appears to be fairly well made but I do have some criticisms.I also own several web belts from Spec Ops which have all given me excellent service for many year, so I’ll be comparing the CQR belt to the ones I have from Spec Ops.The reason I went with CQR, this time around, is that I needed a navy blue belt and Spec Ops simply doesn’t offer one in that color, so the choice was actually made for me.The Spec Ops belt is a made in USA product. The CQR belt is labeled China. Both belts are made from 1.5” nylon webbing but the webbing on the CQR belt appears to be slightly thinner than the webbing on the Spec Ops belt. That makes the CQR belt feel softer and more limp. It’s not necessarily a bad thing if you only need the belt to hold your pants up but if you want a belt to attach anything to, like a holster, then I believe a thicker material with more stiffness is better. The stitching on the CQR belt is adequate and neatly done but there’s more and better stitching on the Spec Ops belt and you can clearly see that the Spec Ops is better built. The plastic buckles on both belts look similar but the Spec Ops buckle securely holds the webbing when only one side is inserted through the buckle. That’s impressive and convenient when adjusting your clothing/uniform.The CQR buckle does not hold the webbing securely unless both sides of the buckle have the webbing threaded through the buckle and I found that to be an unnecessary inconvenience.Who wants to take extra time just to adjust their belt? Not me, but I have to with the CQR belt.I normally purchase belts sized for a 38 inch waist even though I’m a 36.I purchased the CQR belt in size X-LARGE and did the same for the Spec Ops belt. The Spec Ops belt was considerably longer out of the package and needed to be cut to size. The CQR was an exact fit and was wearable right out of the package. The CQR belt is less expensive than the Spec Ops belt but spending more gets you a USA manufactured product which performs better and I believe will last longer. The CQR belt is still a good product, particularly for the price and I expect to get good service from it for many years.I may indeed purchase another CQR belt but given the choice between CQR and Spec Ops I’ll pick the Spec Ops.

soft, cheap, and I can trim it
pleasantly surprised, thought it would be stiffer than a dehydrated patty but it was flexible. The plastic buckle will eventually break like all the other belts I have owned have done.It was cheap, it has extra length, and it was flexible. Would recommend (I'm buying a backup now). I bought another brand when I bought this one because I wasn't sure. That brand came with all kind of nylon hair sticking out all over the place and the belt is like a board.Oh, if you are dumber than a box of rocks don't get this, you will never figure out how to trim it and keep it from fraying.

Somewhat Disappointing
I recently bought the CQR Tactical Belt for casual and sports wear, and while it has some good points, it also has a few drawbacks. The belt is made from strong, durable polyester, which is a plus, but I found that it lacks the rigidity needed for my EDC holster and weapon. The styling and color options are great, which makes it versatile for different outfits and occasions. However, the buckle was a bit of a letdown. While the high-density plastic is convenient for passing through metal detectors, I found it difficult to cinch the belt tight and keep it that way. Releasing the buckle is easy, but the fastening process can be frustrating. Overall, I like the belt's appearance and durability, but it's not quite what I hoped for in terms of everyday use.

Perfect
Closest match to what The Army issued me. Strong material and looks great. True to size. Well worth the cost.
