Good quality. I put my old 40" Samsung in it out at my outdoor kitchen in Phoenix and I bought the TV Shield to protect it because it seemed a reasonable cost alternative to doing a DIY or buying an expensive "outdoor" TV. After a year, the Shield shows no fading or embrittling from the sun and has protected my TV from high winds, driving rain, and of course, excessive knee-buckling heat. And, it does a pretty good job of keeping out dust as I rarely have to wipe off the screen to watch the game. The cover is easy to remove and reinstall even though my TV is mounted at a place above my counter that is somewhat difficult to reach.

This is to cover our TV on our exposed deck. It took some work to drill the mounting holes into our brick exterior wall, but then the shell installed easily. The front comes off, and there are hanging hooks on the front bottom of the shell, so you don't need to find a place to put the front. When done watching TV, the shell comes off those hooks and easily clicks into place, then latches on both sides keep it very secure. Two winters and two hot summers, and this is still looking brand new. High quality, security, easy to use, and a great investment.

The most difficult thing for me was installation on top of vinyl siding. We were able to remove the siding, re-inforced section behind the siding, put back siding and then install. If you have studs in the proper place already behind the siding I don't think it would have been that bad. Love the product though.

Well, when the TV shield showed up, I thought for sure it was not going to fit a 50 inch TV by looking at the box. I did not know The front and back came in three pieces and had to be bolted together. Instructions were clear and you just needed to take a little bit of time to assemble each side. This enclosure was going to be used to mount on our wall on our patio. A couple years ago I had picked up a mobile TV mount and had it in my attic. Having the capability of moving the TV since our patio is long and narrow, had some appeal. So I engineered a way to mount the TV shield enclosure to the movable Mount. As you can see from the picture it worked out pretty well. We are very satisfied with this product. We have also had a couple of pretty heavy rains and no water has entered the enclosure.

I think the heat got it...it kept the TV dry. So it works well, except if sun hits it directly, the TV could get fried. Easy to get into close up. The wife thinks it looks ugly though.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well all of the parts fitted together as well as the quality of the finished product. My only complaint was the size of the diagrams in the instructions, they could have been bigger and clearer. One suggestion, my arm span is just wide enough to be able to grip the sides of the front cover making it difficult to easily maneuver the front of the case. Some handles on the front would be nice.

Loved this cover. I was able to leave my tv out in all weather and it was kept dry even during rain storms. I did take the tv in for winter and it was easy to take off. I also purchased new bolts from a hardware store instead of using the included ones, but it works beautifully and protected my tv well in all types of weather!

Used this cover with a new very slim TV. The lid has some screws that stick out and scratched the TV on one spot. This product comes with some rubber covers, but none of them seemed to be meant for these screws. I ended up saw cutting the screws and buying some pads to cover them, but the damage to the tv is done. It’s a shame because other than that this product keeps the tv well protected from the weather
