Heavy
I have fine hair and these are a bit heavy on me. They hold my hair in place alright, but after about 1/2 hour, they are coming out/sliding out of my hair. One of them had a piece of the flower broken off, but it doesn't really show.

These are not heavy plastic and tend to bend easily with thicker hair. They do however look great.

Cheap Cheap Cheap
Looks great, comes in a cute plastic box, but that's all folks! Will not stay in my hair which is neither thick or thin, the little decorations broke off within the first couple of days, I guess I could glue them back on. The tines are thin plastic and kind of bendable, as they do bend and you can unbend them- so far the tines have not broken. Definitely NOT good for thick hair- as I tried to use them to support a bun. You get what you pay for.

Simple and sweet
I'm not sure why so many people are complaining about the quality of these things. Yes, they're cheap. Look at the price. But they're more than sturdy enough to last a very long time. Honestly, what level of everlasting quality do people expect to obtain... for seven dollars.I've owned these for four months at this point. So far, two of the buttons have popped off - but only because I sat on them accidentally. I don't foresee any chance of one of these buttons coming off just from normal wearing of it.And those buttons popping off was obviously no big deal whatsoever, I just used a dot of super glue to put em back on. Simple.I'm ordering a second set of the same ones i got last time, because they're just that affordable and i like symmetry.
