Bought this to aid plasters (band aid) to my skin. I was told this oil would help and so I tried it and it does so well now I need to soak the plaster when I take it off. For that reason, I give it five stars but it also smells nice which is a bonus.

Great for use with pain patches
I've used to help keep pain patches on my back and ribs. I'd tried every tape and bandage I could without any success and didn't hold much hope for this. Really pleasently surprised, apply to patch and wait for alcohol to evaporated before applying patch to skin. Sticks really well but you only get one go at it, lasting for 8-10 hours.Worried that this might act as a barrier and stop patches from working but doesn't seem to be the case. Would definatley recommend

Volatile. Nothing mystical about it.
I got this because no-one manufactures Friars Balsam any more, but the resin ingredient can be added to this. Also useful as a wound treatment.
