Hilarious
I played this game with teenagers and it was a laugh riot! A fun game to break the ice and foster engagement. I have always been a fan of the Heart and Brain comics by this author/illustrator and the card game did not disappoint! It was worth the money even for the first time I played it. It can also be a good game to get to know others better in a light-hearted way.

Great Icebreaker Game
This game is the perfect thing to pull out to get a group of strangers or acquaintances talking and laughing in just a few minutes. The game is simple. Pull a card and pick 1 of the 3 answers to the question. The answers represent the heart (embracing your inner child/emotionally nonsensical), the brain (logically responsible/adult responsibilities) and the yeti (unpredictable/wild answers). The other players then take turns guessing which answer you selected. Each correct answer gets 1 point. The first player to 5 points wins. This game is great to help strangers break the ice and get to know each other in a fun way. It is also a lot of fun to play with close friends and family members as they might surprise you with the answers they pick! The game goes by quickly and some games take less than 15 minutes, others take about 30 minutes depending on how good the guessers are. There are 576 question cards and we haven't hit any repeats yet! The game is best played with a group, but can be played with 2 - 8 players. They recommend this game for ages 8+ to make sure they can read and understand the questions and answers. The Awkward Yeti makes a great gift and is perfect to take with you when you travel. We had a great time playing while we were camping. You can take the box with you or pack some cards in a baggie and get ready to play! This game would also be fun for counselors and therapists to use.

Enjoyable casual quiz game, but minimal depth
This is a game from the popular The Awkward Yeti comic strip with play somewhat similar to guess-the-chosen-answer staples like Cards Against Humanity or Apples to Apples. In this version, you're presented with scenarios and choose one of three answers (representing the heart, the brain or the yeti); then, a guesser tries to guess what you picked. It's a tried and true formula, and it's popular for a reason - it's a great ice breaker.I wanted a little bit more depth to the cards and gameplay than what's on offer here. You get a huge stack of cards, but not all of them are winners; a lot of them are very lightweight popcorn type questions like "what are your feelings toward broccoli". While that can be fun for a second, you don't really learn much about the person through those interactions - these types of games are best when they present absurd scenarios or open-ended questions you can have fun discussing between rounds, and I felt a lot of these cards were a little too on-the-nose.This isn't a bad game by any means, but it feels a little too familiar and didn't hold our gaming group's attention. We might give it another shot at a large party when everyone's in the mood for something really lightweight and where fewer people know each other well, where it might be a better fit.

AWESOME Game For Couples, Families, Friends, Sleepovers, Classrooms, Rainy Days, Etc
If you haven't heard of Heart & Brain or The Awkward Yeti (aka Nick Seluk), do your whole self a big favor and discover him along with his comics, which are cute, family-friendly, anatomically delightful, and educational in many ways. But you don't need to do that to get this game, so go push the order button while you're reading reviews. We'll still be here as you add it to your cart. This card game not only makes a great gift, but is perfect for groups of friends, family, even couples. It's appropriate for kids too. I would have loved to have a game like this for sleepovers. If you want to get something special for your child's teacher, this would be a good pick, as it can be added to free-time games.I took it along to my brother's house for a little family dinner gathering, and all 6 of us enjoyed playing it together. I dare say we all learned a little something more about each other, too!Have you added it to your cart yet? Yes? Okay, I'll let you go so you can complete the order, and I'll complete my review by giving this game a very brainy & heartfelt 5 stars.

A Fun And Easy To Hop In Or Out Social Card Game Where You Learn About People
The Awkward Yeti Heart and Brain Quiz Card Game is currently a newly released game from the Awkward Yeti brand. It features 3 of the colorful main cast of the series” the Heart, the Brain, and the Yeti. The game mechanics plays similarly to a reverse Apple-to-Apples style kind of gameplay, where one player is chosen to reveal a prompt/scenario, everyone else has to pick one of the multiple answers that reflect the Heart, the Brain, or the Yeti, and the prompt revealer goes around and guesses everyone’s choices. Correctly guessing the majority wins a point, and repeat for each player until the first to 5 points win.The rules are short and simple, thus also quite flexible (like not really needing to “win” per say or have a point system, instating a time limit, etc). While short in rounds, this game makes it up in the volume of prompt cards. There are a total of 576 whopping prompt cards, which is helpful in these kinds of games as too little ends up being repetitive or boring. It is interesting to find out how much you know your family and friends, as well as finding out how people who you may not know particularly well think (and also becomes a conversation starter/ice breaker). Personalities really do affect answer choices, as sometimes a person may not aptly apply to any of the 3 answers and so a mental match to guess their choices and reasonings subtly initiates.Overall, The Awkward Yeti Heart and Brain Quiz Card Game is a fun social game that is both quick, flexible, and easy to learn.
