This is an ideal lightweight ,but sturdy. outdoor chicken coop.
This coop is exactly what I expected it to be. It's not heavy, but solid enough to stay in place and contain chickens. In fact, I do move it occasionally with the help of one other person. The materials are just right for simple needs. I don't keep my chickens in it at night as this is more of a daytime run area for them. The wire is extremely lightweight, but sufficient. It will keep out a hawk, but not a fox if the fox has time to chew on the wire for a while, or to dig under the frame. My chickens don't like the tarp when it blows around, and most animals also react negatively to the sound of a tarp moving from the wind. So I'll likely use a more solid plastic on top of the wire and get rid of the tarp later, to prevent the flapping sound that makes the chickens nervous. But I'm very pleased with this product. It took me a fairly short time to organize everything and put all the metal pieces together (maybe an hour) , and a long time (3-4 hours) to measure and cut the chicken wire and then zip tie everything. The zip ties took the most time, and I didn't use all of them. I'd recommend planning on budgeting about 3 hours for one person to get most of this large size coop done, and then adding more zip ties later if one is in a hurry. Before I started I laid out the materials and counted everything to make sure all was included, which it was. Then I read the instructions, and pieced it together fairly quickly. Follow the instructions exactly, especially for the door. It's nice that the middle part of the coop will allow even a taller person to walk inside without stooping. The door is easy to latch and works well.I hope this information helps you decide if this chicken coop/run is ideal for you.

chicken pen
product as a whole is good, quality control is not as good as should be, missing part that is necessary to finish building. You sent only 4 of the joiners, needed to send 5. Had to modify the connection above to door to connect to the other upright is missing. Please contact manufactory to send 1 please, otherwise it is OK!!!

Good quality
Bought this for our chickens. With some added security it’s a great chicken run

Poor door
The door design is very flawed. First, it does not fit correctly and opens very rough. The hinge has already broke after 2 months of use. I hope the manufacturer can replace it.The rest of the design is fine and easy to put together.

LOVE THIS.
Easy to put together. So great i bought it a second time. The only annoying part is putting the chicken wire on. You’ll need to buy more zip ties. We are also reinforcing it with hardware cloth at the bottom anyways.

ehhh
The material breaks and bends if you look at it wrong. Be careful with the tarp. If you get show and don't clean it off it will collapse the whole thing. Would I buy again? yea. It serves a purpose for me but I would add reinforcers from the jump.

Ours caved in when it snowed😭
I bought it last spring and loved it up until yesterday. We got about 4 inches of snow and the snow accumulated quickly and when we got home from work we saw that it caved in on our already disabled goose☹️Luckily she is ok...but now we have no where to put our goose and are out almost $400...so make sure not to let that happen! Hopefully the company will see this and make adjustments so this doesn't happen to anyone else😞

Garbage
Lost a flock of turkeys and a rooster after a day. Product is cheap and not as described. Difficult and laborious to put together. Not safe or secure at all. Don’t waste your money or time. Go to Home Depot and build something yourself for half the price.
