Yes, they are similar to music ear-pods but fully rubber. I’d say that they keep about 90% of water out but probably these are the best ones I’ve found. Also a tip, I’ve learned that once I’ve inserted them into my ears, just let them be as they will remain in the ears, don’t be tempted to keep pressing them in during your swim time, coz I did that for a while and found out that any water that got into my ears was just being pushed further down into my ear canal, so just initially insert them and leave them alone until you have completed your swim 👍

Personally I think that these would be fine as you can squeeze them tightly into a small shape to insert into the ears of a teenager but probably wouldn’t recommend for much younger child

You receive three plugs in a pack. They are very comfortable to wear and so far I am still after many weeks on my first set. The totally keep the water out. Soft so no pain in inserting or wearing the plugs. I would definitely recommend. Hope this helps!
