Excellent
Our two dear ladies are on great form in this tail.Known characters were true to their previous outing, new characters well described in a few words. Story was solid and interesting.Well done to all involved.

I don't recommend this book.
The author needs more training in writing. There are too many characters introduced to the reader with no details about their personality.

A rare jewel
Is there international crime taking place in the seaside town? What a cast of characters! Are they all they appear to be?

Boring
This isn't a terrible book, but I found it a bit of a slog. Our sleuths wander about talking to some people, then wander around some more, stumbling across a body or two as they go. You can reasonably argue this is what happens in most detective fiction, but my problem is with the two main characters. They are so dull! There's no charm, no humour, and no unique 'voice' for each character. They're simply bland, and this makes the book bland and rather uninteresting too. I can forgive a lot if a book has engaging characters. Unfortunately that's not the case here.
