This product is the best hair gel for black women I ever came across, it smells good it does slay and lay no flaking and you can use it on wet or dry. I will always buy it I love this product .

After sometime of using this product, I found something very concerning. I was using this product on my hair and my children’s hair. I braided their hair up all the time with no problems. Another product that I used off Amazon is way better than this! This gel literally started to form mold in it and I mean black mold. I’m wondering why our hair is itchy and I’m having to rewash all of our hair again just to come to find out after inspecting the gel, spots of black mold forming in this gel . Stop using this product. It’s not worth it.

Been searching high and low for a large amount of braid gel to avoid spending $40 every week on braid gel. I use this on my clients. I’m so happy i found this 64 oz because it’ll last me a long time. It does turn white sometimes but the residue goes away if oil is applied afterwards of using.

This product has an instant hold but if you are a braider you will hate it . It melts down really fast by the time you Finish the back of the head it will look like you had your braids in for a few hours . Y’all know what i mean the hair is very shining and a strong hold but it does not last long .
