When I bought this iPhone backup device, I mainly bought it to back up my pictures and contacts. It does that extremely easily and in short order. What I didn’t expect and come to love is the ability to record videos that go directly to the stick instead of the iPhone’s photo app. I have a 128GB iPhone that is perpetually almost full, so when I take videos, I’m always afraid I won’t have enough memory to record everything. What I discovered is that with this device, that doesn’t matter, I can film long form videos that go directly to the drive and never worry. On top of that, afterwards, it’s so incredibly easy to transfer the video(s) from the iXflash drive onto my computer hard drive. I just unplug the stick drive from my iPhone and then plug the USB end into my computer, and viola, I can access all the videos I filmed and load them directly to the computer. No middlemen or cloud needed, just film and download, that simple. I’m still playing with the device to see what other cool features I can use, but for now, I am very happy with its backup functionality and over the moon with the camera feature. Definitely recommend it whole heartedly.
