Premier Pad White Dressings, Sterile, 40 x 20 cm, Pack of 8

A very high-absorbency sterile wound dressing pad measuring 40cm x 20cm in tear-open packaging measuring approx 12cm x 24cm, shelf life is 2021 (five years). Four of these will fit flat in one pocket of most standard first aid kits including the standard 'Copenhagen' zip up pouchI was fed up with replacing unused, expensive ambulance dressings every two years. I have now replaced them with these easier-to-open, longer-life, more versatile and simple application flat pad dressings which are larger than the pad on a #4 ambulance dressing: If a smaller pad is required, simply fold it or cut it (which you can't do with a bandage-attached ambulance dressing), it can be held in place without having a bandage getting in the way or a couple of separate cohesive bandages / a roll of tape to hold them in place and you're set for the next five yearsIf, like me, you are dealing with multiple workplace kits - drop the local authority an eMail to explain that you are using an alternative to the HSE guideline dressings (explaining the pads exceed the guideline) and you will find them most agreeable

Use them for a highly exuding wound. Quite good if one's needs more often dressing change ,in the case of an highly exuding wound or the wound is medium or low exuding. Soft and conformable.

Does the job. Good size too. Would buy again. Size 20 cm x 40 cm

Effective dressing at a very good price. I have advised my GP practice staff of this particular size and hope I will be able to have the item prescribed soon. However, in the meantime I will be ordering some directly.

Good quality product. Comfortable and good absorbency.

Mum had shingles and the dressings sold by the chemist had no padding on them so they were very uncomfortable.These however had the padding in the middle and stayed over the wound, kept the calamine cream in place and helped the shingles heal over quicker.

THEY ARE WHAT I NEED AT THIS TIME CHEAPEST I COULD FIND DOES THE JOB

These were the same brand as the ones I was given while in hospital so I knew they were good quality and had good absorption. They're also very reasonably priced compared to buying from my local pharmacy. Would recommend.
