I bought this as a replacement for a broken thermometer for use in my final year at vet school. It's easy to use and readings are taken in less than 10 seconds which I was highly impressed with. Would definitely recommend!!

just like the one my parents used to have, very handy to use, apart from one thing, that the battery come with it has no battery life left, so i have to buy a new one myself.other than that, pretty good product.

Wildly Inaccurate - readings much too low.
Bought this to take temperature of person on chemotherapy: as it consistently read well within normal range, didn't overly worry when he became unwell. However, he ended up in hospital with a life-threatening infection, and a temperature nearly 2 degrees above the reading from this thermometer. Once recovered, we bought an expensive Braun professional thermometer of the type used in hospital, and repeatedly tested them back-to-back: same result - between 1 1/2 and 2 degrees below the correct reading. Shocking.
