Go with Touchup Direct. This pen is just by itself and it's not a good choice for a perfect fix if you're a perfectionist. Even with the package you're mentioning, without proper knowledge and skill on applying the coats + sanding... it would still be an itch in your eyes.I wish I had had the money to coat the entire car with durable clear film instead.

Is not a good paint, my car is a CX-3 2017 Soul Red and the color is not the same.

We didn’t use primer. But you are right. It turned kind of orange. I would get the spray next time and hope that would match better.

Q: How large of a scratch will this pen work on? I have a scratch on my Mazda that is about 2-3 inches long and not super wide on the bumper.

My scratch was longer and it worked. I also waxed the area after the paint dried. The width on mine was slightly wider than a line drawn by a pen.
