Sailor 11-0558-202 Fountain Pen, Four Seasons Weave, Moon and Night Water, Fine Point

Very nice pen. Has normal Sailor “feedback” but I don’t mind that. Writes well, doesn’t,dry out when capped. This is a bargain!

This pen writes very well and ink flows beautifully, although the fine nib of Sailor fountain pen is a little harder to control than medium or medium fine nibs. The red resin body is dark red with glistening gold shimmer. It looks more stunning in person than the photo depicted in Amazon! A good purchase on Amazon!

Reliable - always ready to write. An extra-fine nib and not too wet, so it's perfect for editing manuscripts. It gives a little more feedback than I prefer when composing new material in longhand. But lightweight, a good size and so reliable that I keep it at hand for on the spot note taking and editing.

I love the color, the shape, and it feels great in my hand. has a scratchy feedback like writing with a pencil. pictures don't do it justice, it is much more beautiful in person. no skipping and writes consistently. it's my favorite pen at this price point. also, any 1911 nib segment fits in here. I was able to change the barrel to house my sailor fude de mannen pen, for instance.

The pen was clearly used. The plastic around the pen already had an open hole big enough for the pen to slide through. I thought maybe it was just examined, but then found that the pen had dried out black ink on the nib because there was a cartridge that had already been attached and punctured in the pen. The ink is dried out. Also, the description neglects to tell you if a converter is included. I found that one is not. So if you do not already have a Sailor converter or cartridges, you will not be able to use this pen without making other purchases. So this is not a new sealed pen. Would appreciate information on if a converter was included so I could have ordered one as well. There is another listing for this same pen, that I see now and may be more reliable. Look elsewhere.

Beautifully crafted. I got the Yozakura (Night Cherry Blossom). It is absolutely stunning. A lovely soft pink with gold shimmer and pale gold accents. I get so many compliments on it and it writes like a dream. So smooth.

I wasn't sure how I would feel about the different color finial, but the finish is beautiful. There is a depth of color that the photos do not show. I love the aesthetic. Moon over water is appropriate. As for how it writes, it writes like you would think a Sailor should -- perfectly with the included black ink cartridge. Some people don't like the feedback of the nib, but I have learned that I do.

It’s just okay. Cute pen but not as good as others in this price range.
