Fantastic jug. Was given a smaller one several months ago as a present but this larger jug means a lot less less filling.When full of water- can be heavy as you would expect for a larger jug with this capacity- and maybe an important consideration for some people in choosing size.Attractive, smart, modern, sleek plastic jug. Looks good and is fantastic quality.I guess the Britta business model is to sell you a great piece of kit at a very reasonable price but to get you on the hook to buy replacement filter cartridges!But whether it's a larger or smaller one, what these filter jugs do is fantastic.Horrible municipal tap water has an immeasurably better / neutral taste and clearly the filter cartridges do a great job at taking out impurities and chemicals. It's immediately noticeable.For example, even after three months, there is absolutely zero lime-scale build-up in my kettle and the filtered water leaves the inside of a kettle looking brand new.And overall my body feels healthier by no longer drinking unfiltered London tap water full of harsh chemicals. And I can't say whether it's just a co-incidence since starting to use a Britta filter jug but it's like your body is clear of these harsh chemicals and any moments of brain fog - perhaps caused by drinking unfiltered chemicalised tap water - have just disappeared.Worth the investment and the ongoing outlay of buying replacement filter cartridges. I am not going back to drinking unfiltered tap water.This is great. And I wish I'd got one years ago.

Easy to clean, large capacity , good shape

Does what it should. This is a great filter - I have it in the fridge to keep my water at the ready. I find that the water tastes good out of it. Removes any odd smells or taste. I have found that the top does accumulate a bit of limescale but if you make sure you clean it out it is good (otherwise it can cause leaks when trying to pour).

Swapped out our under sink filter and got this jug and cartridges.The jug is a good size for family use, and the taste in water is so much better.Highly recommend.

I recently purchased the BRITA Style XL Water Filter Jug, and I’m overall happy with its quality and performance. The jug is sturdy, easy to use, and can be conveniently stored in the fridge. The 3.6L capacity is great for individual use, and the MAXTRA PRO All-in-1 cartridge does an excellent job of improving the taste of the water. The design is sleek, with a smart LED-LTI indicator, no leakage and a flip-lid for easy filling.However, I wouldn't recommend it for larger families. Since the capacity isn’t enough for heavy daily use, I ended up ordering a second jug. Additionally, cleaning can be a bit tricky as dust tends to stick to the top lines of the jug, which makes it harder to keep it spotless. Despite these minor issues, the jug’s overall performance and convenience make it a good buy for smaller households.

We had a small just before and wanted something which would accommodate the size of my family which this does perfectly. It’s easy to use and refill and very easy to clean too.

Nice water filter jug, better quality than our older model, this new one also has a cover at the tip which our old one didn’t have. Much better this way which prevents dust going in the jug. Well packed and fast delivery.
