I have had clips that slip around if you don’t twist just the right amount of hair in them. These clips hold the hair without fussing.This means that you need to open them to remove them or change positions. Which is nice. If you are looking for one that will just slide out you can remove the inner band. I have not tried that yet.

for a girl that's new at doing her hair properly they're pretty much dummy proof and I have that hair that anything with a band that isn't covered in cloth will rip out. this doesn't. the little rubber I think bands don't hurt my hair or anything and they surely don't get stuck in my hair like the ones at the salon do. they're pretty good for people learning to do hair.

Now these keep my hair in place whenever I’m styling my hair or just braiding them for a protective style! Super sturdy and they don’t budge unless you press down to move them. Great for the price!

I have trouble with clips staying in my hair and have no problems with this set. My daughter made me get her a set also.

I honestly didn't even realize these had elastic-rubber inserts to grip the hair better when I ordered them. They even came with extras! They're very well-made, and the metal that composes the back half is properly shaped and I don't have to fear slicing myself open with it. 10/10 would order again.

These work great. They hold your hair and do not pull or snag. Came with 2 extra silicone bands.
