A gigantic and highly rugged set. Worth every penny.
Absolutely amazing. First off, this thing is HUGE! It takes up a lot of space, great for display and it's very durable so it's great to play withSecond: It can easily be converted to an RC with the lego power sets (sold separately)Third: there THREE alternative builds for this set. A sunny buggy and a hot rod. So far, my fave technic set ever. Worth every penny.

11 year old loves to build
This kit was for a rally car and it was given to my grandson turning 11. He absolutely loves Lego building and as he has gotten older he loves taking on bigger projects. This helps him be creative and keeps him away from gaming on the tv.

Very cool, time consuming, educational model
My 9 year old loved this for Christmas, I'm glad he did and spent most of Christmas day building this kit. It gave me an opportunity to describe to him how suspension, steering and rotation of the engine pieces wasn't expected but allowed for further education for him... not to mention a really cool looking car!

Fun to build
I'm an adult. This was my first Lego Technics build. Really my first Lego build of any substance. Lego kits like this were not available when I was a kid and I am not a parent so I haven't been exposed to them through my kids, either.I enjoyed building the kit. I had a few struggles.1) I had a difficult time distinguishing the blue and black pieces in the instructions. Early in construction I hit a frustrating wall when looking for a particular black piece. When I mentioned my difficulty to someone, they were able to point out my error - the part I was looking for is actually blue!2) 3/4's of the way through, I found my kit was missing all of a certain piece. The replacement was easy to order from the Lego website, but it took several weeks to receive and I had to stop building to wait for it.3) There seems to be a minor design defect with the rear axle. It appears to be slightly too short. If you put any pressure on the rear of the car, the wheels tend to pop off. Reattaching them is a little tricky, you need to reach inside to grasp the wheel coupling with tweezers or pointy pliers to keep it from slipping inward in order to press the wheel back on.Other than these few small problems, the kit went together in a way that was fun and challenging! I really enjoyed it!

Best Lego we’ve purchased
Excellent LEGO set. Great price for the number of pieces. Challenging and complicated enough to make it fun. Really cool engineered movement. My 11yo finished it in a few hours.
