Nice value, and when I perform a good grilling it does a quality job. The size is really large and the weight helps smash burgers easily. The sharp edges are also good for scraping the grill easily.

This Beef Smasher is strong and sturdy and has been great for making Smash Burgers. I highly recommend.

I recently got a griddle top for my Weber grill. The first thing I wanted to make was smashburgers. Those flat, crispy, caramelized, thin burgers you can stack two or three high. Unfortunately, my old spatula was not up to the task, it bent when I tried to smash the first hunk o' meat. I purchased six (yes, 6, I take my grillin' & smokin' seriously) different spatulas before I found the right one that was up to the task. So those plus my old one made seven. This spatula came in 2nd place. It checked almost every box; thickness, weight, strength, wood handle, beveled edge. It lost to the Blackstone Signature XL because the Blackstone was wider, had a bottle opener at the end of the handle and most importantly was $18 at Wal-Mart. It has a heat-resistant handle instead of wood but was half the price of this beast.

Love the handle angle and weight of this spatula for smash burgers have tried several types but this is by far the best I’ve found. Nice constructed handle and width is great for a nice sized burger. Gave as gifts to husband, son and son-n-law. Will gift again in men’s wedding grilling gift sets.
