National Standard Spiral Steno Pad, Gregg Rule, Brown Cover, 80 Eye-Ease Green 6 X 9 Sheets

It is a great notebook actually. But if you are looking for a steno pad like the ones that used to be in use in the 870's, 80's and 90's - this is not that one. Those had a hard backing piece of cardboard while these have a pretty skinny backing. In other words, its difficult to hold it and write on it w/o it tending to bend. In all fairness, the vendor does not claim it is at all like the "older ones"

I love using steno pads. Great for keeping notes.

So, as long as you have something on your lap that is firm, or you are writing on a desk or table for a firm surface, this works. But, then one more thing to balance on your lap if you are taking notes in an auditorium or similar. The paper is the proper green and smooth writing. The price seemed reasonable compared to others so I thought I'd try one. Still on the hunt for a reasonable priced one that is a little better cover than this.

Just received this and it is flimsy. It has no structure to it with the cover being so thin. Because of that the top corner was bent & crushed in the package. Went to do a return & have it send back but they want to charge me $7 to have it picked up for a damaged $4.90 notepad. So this costs me money to order this and receive a defective product. Don’t waste your money.

I have used these same note pads for 30 years. From angsty song lyrics to now business development notes. HIGHLY recommend. Perfect size for traveling to meetings as well!

These are good quality steno pads. I purchased a pack of 12 pads from a office supply company that had a better price than these, but the covers were flimsy. So I am going back to these pads that have a cardboard cover and keep the pad in better shape while carrying in my large tote bag.
