No, only the nipple is included. You have to replace the old nipple by the sippy cup style nipple with the straw attached. You will still use the existing lid.

Hello, the sippy spout is a stage 6+ months, variable flow. It has 2 small double line cuts. You can definitely start to introduce it earlier since it can take time for little ones to learn how to control the flow. Since the sippy spout is attached to a weighted straw, the flow is actually slower than you would expect. As they grow older and their sucking becomes stronger, the flow becomes faster as well. Not all little ones are the same, some may take it sooner and some may take later than 6 months. The key is just to keep offering, the sooner (when/if appropriate [4+ months]) the better.
