Makes a buzzing sound when it’s turned on. Gets louder the higher and hotter it is.

I turned it on and it was buzzing really bad when I tried to shut it off it would not shut off. Plus the one I got 11/4 /32mm is huge and has a little weight, I should have purchase the 1inch. I tried to see if I could get a exchange but babybliss don't do that at all so I had to return it. So I'll just reorder the one I want hopefully I'll get one that is in good working shape because it is beautiful 😍

So my hair is curly, color treated, and frizzy most of the time which is why I RARELY straighten it. I finally decided to splurge on a quality straightener to prove to myself that hopefully it was my tools not my hair that was the problem and I WAS RIGHT! Disclaimer: this product does get very hot on both sides so you have to be careful BUT otherwise it's the best thing ever for straightening my hair. I only used some Paul Mitchel serum and a tiny bit of leave in conditioner on my ends after I showered earlier in the day and when I got the product in the mail, I just took my hair down and got to straightening. My hair felt silkier, shinier, and so much healthier than it has felt in YEARS. I usually only straighten my bangs rather than my entire head of hair since I live in a humid and temperamental weather climate so it tends to be a waste of time as my hair goes wavy or puffy almost instantly but after doing my hair with this straightener, I slept on my hair and then did a quick re-straightening in the morning (took 10-15 minutes which is miraculous for me since I usually take 1 hour or more with my old products) and had zero issues with it laying beautifully flat all day. For context I bleach and use semi permanent dye to maintain this vibrant purple color so if you have frizzy or color treated hair, GO FOR IT! I am so happy I did :)

Worth the money

Giving this five stars so the review will have a better chance of being seen.I didn't get to try the straightener so I can't comment on the quality of use because there was an electrical-like sizzling sound coming from it from the first time I turned it on. Seems unsafe so I returned it. As usual, Amazon is just selling the defective versions of things.
