The fabric is like swim suit fabric. It is very stretchy and slippery. We used it as the base of a Mickey Mouse costume for my 2 year old boy. Perfect! He was nice and warm with layers of clothes on under his costume.The zipper is secure, the garment is well made and it is true to size! Good price

I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this was made. I used it as a base for a Marie costume for my daughter who wore it to 5 different functions (including a dance class) in one week. Not a loose thread after all that. Despite eating cake in it there are no stains. Everything wipes off. The fabric has a little thickness but if there is something colored underneath it will still show thru slightly just like anything white. Arms and legs were the perfect length and she was able to work the zipper on her own much easier than most church dresses. If you use the size chart you will not be disappointed with the fit. And can we talk about the price? Wow I saved so much money on a costume by using this to make it myself! I will definitely use this brand for other bases in the future.

Super cute and comfortable. Perfect for a Smurf Halloween costume. It fit as expected and was stretchy and breathable.

I left my six-year-old daughter, watch Aristocats, which is now become her favorite movie, and I use this as the base for her costume for Duchess. She still wears it all the time with the little ears and tail. It was a little see-through,Which is why I’m only giving a three stars. Just make sure they have white underwear or white tights to wear under it.
