A Great Purchase!
I've now bought five books by the editors of Muscle and Fitness Hers (three of them via gift cards, so it wasn't an expensive investment). This one is tied with "101 Body-Sculpting Workouts & Nutrition Plans: For Women" (2011) for the best of their books, with "101 Get-Lean Workouts and Strategies for Women" (2012) coming in at a close second. The workouts and exercises are supreme in all three books, and it's easy to mix, match, pair, and create a sequence of the different transformation plans offered in each book. What makes this book and "Body-Scultping" so amazing? The nutritional information and recipes! This book especially offers so many delicious recipes. "Body-Sculpting" has a great glossary of muscle-building foods that includes the macronutrient and calorie count for each item. As anyone who is concerned with fitness knows, diet is essential. Diet also takes considerable planning, and these books make the planning so much easier. You'll have no excuse to make poor decisions!I have only begun getting into bodybuilding over the last few months, and I say without hesitance that this is the best of the Muscle and Fitness Hers books to begin your transformation. Use this one to rid your body of excess fat, and then incorporate the workouts from "Body-Sculpting" and "Get-Lean", the latter of which also has a great section about supplements, as you strive to get the kind of muscle definition that all the gorgeous fitness models in the books have. Then I highly recommend the purchase of "101 Muscle-Shaping Workouts and Strategies for Women" (2011). That book is 100% devoted to different exercises for each muscle group you'll want to work, and is great for giving you a "menu" of exercises you can do to add variety to your weight-lifting.My only disclaimer would be that this book may be tough and too foreign for a beginner who is completely out-of-shape and used to a totally sedentary lifestyle. But if you're even just somewhat active and if you're ready to commit to the fitness lifestyle, go ahead and make the purchase!

Fantastic reference book for workouts!
I personally own this book and have gotten fabulous results with it. My favorite workout published within is the "Look Great in 8" program. This particular workout promises results in 8 weeks and it does work. You basically do a different activity every day for 6/7 days a week. You have options over which cardio and weight routine you would like to do. Aside from wonderful routines, the book also offers in depth detail and pictures to help you if you are not an avid gym goer. I love this book so much that I have purchased 2 more from the Muscle and Fitness Hers series! If you love to workout, but need new plans to mix up your results this is a great reference book. If you are new to the gym lifestyle, this book will help you get started.I can promise you that if you do the workouts mapped out within and follow the dietary suggestions, you will get results and the book will pay for itself!

Compact and Comprehensive
I love how this book covers strength training, cardio fitness and healthy diet tips and recipes all in one book that fits in a gym bag. The exercise programs are explained clearly and the color photos help the descriptions. The writing is motivational and makes me excited to go the gym and try out the workouts offered in 101 Fat-Burning Workouts & Diet Strategies for Women. I'm a personal trainer and would recommend this book to anyone who is ready to make a healthy lifestyle change.

Great book
This book is an amazing workout and diet guide! The pages are colorful and thick, there are plenty of photos everywhere, overall it is a great read.

Very educational.
This book had a lot of information in it. It didn't seem to give any extra insight into getting into extraordinary shape. It's more about really working to get into decent shape and stresses that it takes a lot of work to get into bikini model shape. Maybe I've just read and seen too many things that the information in this book seemed like stuff that I've already heard. Nonetheless, it does have a lot of information and would be a great tool to help someone get into shape if they've never been into the fitness "thing" before.

It' s got a perfect routine in Look great in 8 weeks that Is perfect to get in slim shape in minimal amount of time. Plus others. It's just finding the time to actually devote 40- 60 minutes a day on it.

Great workouts
I have been working out for years and got really bored. This book gave me lots of ideas for different workout, plus an 8 week program that really helped me kick it into gear. A year later, I am still going back to the book for ideas.

Great way to get motivated
This book would work for the ones who already have been exercising regularly. It gives you good tips on the cardio part, but, I'd expect more variations on total body exercises. I love the diet section. I'd definitely cook these meals.
