Weaver Leather Barn Cow Halter

If you read the description it isn’t leather. It is nylon. Weaver leather is a brand. These are very well made and weaver is a great brand. I have a simmental Holstein cross 2 yr old heifer and needs the large as the medium was just a tiny bit to small. The large unfortunately is just a tiny bit too big. That’s ok though she will grow into it. The medium may actually fit her but she is definitely all beef cow in temperament and despite being a bottle baby she is very weary of people. So the medium halter wasn’t able to be fit as easily as the large. Once she got it off because she’s special like that I just ordered a large. Which she also managed to remove. I just wanted a later for her so that I could practice getting it on her. Once she realized she could take it back off she was more than happy to stick her head in the bucket of grain while I put it on.

Good quality halter. For sizing help - our Jersey heifer is 11 months old, about 43” at the withers, and approximately 590 pounds. We ordered a medium and it is a little too big. I cut a hole about an inch from the smallest hole and it seems to fit well. She has room to grow into it!

I got this for a 3 month Dexter calf but it’s still too big. It’s a good halter that feels like it will hold up. The fit (once she grows into it) will fit comfortably. Good halter, good price.

Good strong harness, but she got it stuck on the fence post and we had to cut it off.Also, in case you didn't look at the material, Weaver Leather is the brand. The harness is not leather.

Bought a couple different halters for my 2 year old brown swiss mix. She's a big girl and growing. The last one I had for her (different company) was supposedly an xl but it just didn't fit right and she ended up making it disappear. Just got this one on her and it fits just like it should....high enough up her nose that I don't think she'll be able to lose this one.

Not bad. The large for my 800 lb, 13 month old angus a little big, so I just cut one more hole smaller for it to latch and bingo.

Great product, well made, durable and comfortable. We ordered a small for our 36” Dexter. It stretched after a few days of use, we went from using the last hole to fasten it to using 3rd from last.
