Defective unit replaced with a remanufactured one
The unit we bought brand new did not work. We reached out to support and Garmin mailed us another unit and it turned out to be a remanufactured unit. It works and looks fine, just don't feel right paying new money for a reman.

Compatible with garmin gps
Works great with my Garmin gps. I can now see other boats with AIS and they can see me.
