Booster Bath Elevated Pet Bathing Medium

I have two dogs. The larger one she is 18 pounds. The little guy he is 13 pounds. Bath time in the tub is a nightmare, in the summer I can sit on the deck and give them a bath out there and that’s not as bad. I’m in my 70s, so sitting on the rim of the tub, with my feet in the tub bending over washing the dogs hurts my back knees and hips lol! I bought the medium size. I put it in my shower, which gave me more room to stand close and walk around if I needed. I am 5’4” and I didn’t really have to bend over to give them a bath. I did take the straps off when I was bathing them as they like to turn around and I need them to turn around so I can rinse both sides easier. I did not buy the stairs because they would try to get out of it! So for me, it was just as easy to pick the dogs up and dry them and put them down. Once done, I turned it upside down and let it dry. In the morning, I took the legs and the drain hose off and put them in the basin and it was ready to be put in the garage till next time. In the summer, I can use it out on my deck. it is very sturdy and I wasn’t worried about it tipping over or collapsing. It was very easy to put it together. It was also very easy to take it apart so as far as I’m concerned, this gets 10 stars and I wish I had it five years ago! I definitely would recommend it.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it really is an outstanding product and fills a need for those of us who prefer to bathe and groom our dogs at home. I have had some problems but they are unique to me and my dogs.I have 2 Papillons. One of them, Radar, is very small (under 5 pounds) and a perfect joy. I put him in the kitchen sink and he stands there letting me bathe him. But the other one, Casper, is larger and has a neurological problem causing his legs to be weak. He fits in the sink too but he plasters himself down to the bottom of the sink and is very tiring to bathe. And he needs to be bathed often because he pees on his front legs and his belly. He's a very lovable dog in spite of his problems. I got the Booster Bath primarily for Casper.It's a great tub but I want to share my experience with others.Firstly: We live in an apartment and don't have a laundry room or backyard. The tub is small and just right for our small Papillons but the legs have a wide base. I set it up in the tub in our main bathroom and use the hand held shower. We have to keep the legs on one side outside the tub because our tub is too narrow to completely accommodate all 4 legs. If you live in an apartment, decide where you're going to put it and measure the space carefully,not forgetting that the drain hose has to be lower than the tub to drain. You will need to check if a hand held shower or kitchen spray reaches the tub unless you have a hookup for a hose.Secondly: The legs easily attach to the tub but they are difficult to take off again. Perhaps they will loosen up in time. My hands are not very strong and my husband has to help me take the legs off to store the tub.All in all, it's a great help being able to harness Casper in the tub to keep him from scrunching down to the bottom and I'm glad I got it.

Very sturdy. Easy assembly. It definitely is better on my back to stand for bathing my dog! Only downfall is that it doesn’t fit in a tub completely when washing inside. I look forward to using it outside when the weather is warmer.

I absolutely love this tub, it's not only great for bathing my 2 dogs in, but also for grooming them in, which is no small task for one of my dogs, who is a chow mix with a lot of fur, now before this tub bathing and grooming him was an all day event, but with this tub it was 3 hours, and that's including doing my other dog, now she's a shorthaired dog, but bathing her in the past had been a free for all, but this tub with three way collar tie down actually kept her calm. The only negative thing I would have to say about this product is the price, I think for what I got $80.00 would be a better price, but I'm still good with the tub itself, just not with how much it cost, oh and all of those extra plastic holders are a waste, they won't attach to the tub at all, if when ordering I had been given an option not to have those and pay less, I would have taken advantage of that.

Purchased the medium for our 40 pound pittie mix. He is a great dog but terrified of baths. My husband and I are 60ish and we both have to hold him to bathe him, it’s a huge fight and both of us end up drenched and with sore backs. The first time we used this it went into perfectly, pup was secured the whole time, we didn’t end up with back pain and I am thrilled!

So I’ve had this tub for a few years now, and yes, it functions pretty well but I absolutely hate this thing. I hate it more every time I use it. First, taking the legs off and putting them on is such a massive pain. I often need my husbands “power thumbs” to do the job because they are so hard to get off. Second, the stance is very wide. It will not fit in a standard tub. It won’t even fit in our massive master bath tub. I can barely get it into our shower, but getting it out, plus getting the legs off, makes a huge wet mess. We don’t have the option of leaving it assembled due to space issues (honestly, I’d like to meet the person who DOES have space to store this thing assembled), which means we have to take the legs off and put them on every time. Eventually we will get a built in bathing station, but until then, I’ll look for a more convenient portable option.

Wow, where has this been all my dog loving ownership life. Bath time is nearly a joy for me. My 3 dogs seemed to like it much better than standing in their wash basin full or dirty wash water and shedded hair. Who can blame them.Quality is very good, very nice working height and stable too.
