Excellent product! Seals bags very well. Just what I needed and at a great price.

Disappointed with product but excellent customer service from the company!! . Heating element is NOT 12 inches, the exact size is 11.75 inches. This may not seem like a big deal but becomes an issue when you are trying to close 12" bags which is a common size for things like chips. The product otherwise works fantastically well, as long as the item you have is not 12 inches or longer. Also do some TEST runs first. Less heat with more pressure is usually better. Heat setting of 3-4 with some pressure is enough for chips, cereal zip lock bags and other items.

Seal is great. It is quick and the build quality is solid. It comes well packaged and will arrive in excellent condition. Heat can get very hot, i do believe it will deal everything you want it to. I used it on 4/10 power to seal 3 layers of 8 mil plastic together, without burning the other 2 layers. Excellent!

I don't know if I got a defective unit, but I decided to return/refund this item.This sealer seals so unevenly that the bag starts to melt at one end before the other end is completely sealed. Also, the heating element cover started to burn after just two bags.I would recommend spending a bit more money and getting a better sealer.

Don't know why I had to have this. Bags in my house usually empty too fast. But we tested it and it works well... just in case we ever need it! It's large and heavy, so perhaps a smaller, hand-held battery operated one would be the smarter choice unless you're an avid "prepper."

We use this sealer more than we thought we would. I use it to seal one pound coffee bags to store coffee. The bags require the heat temp on the higher end. If you plan to use the high heat settings order the wider, heavier duty heat strips that are carried on Amazon. Just make sure you order the correct length. Provided heat strips work fine on lower temp settings.
